The food is very good. But judging by the other reviews and my own experience the service is a continuous issue that does not change. When ordering I was asked if I wanted mushrooms. I said yes and actually asked for extra mushrooms. The cashier rolled her eyes but didn't put it into machine. I confronted her about it and she began ignoring me. When my order came there were no mushrooms at all. I walked up to the counter and asked the Asian lady and she said they didn't give sides of mushrooms. I replied by saying i didn't want a side, just what I ordered. She told me the only way I get them is to bring my plate (didn't have one...my food was put into to-go box for some reason). I asked why she couldn't put it into sauce cup or something but she continuously said she wouldn't give side of mushrooms. And by reading other reviews this EXACT issue seems to come up often. If Season's management weren't idiots they would see an opportunity to put side of mushrooms on the menu to increase revenue since there is evidently a demand for it. Instead they continue to treat customers poorly.

ALSO, as I was eating my food with a bad attitude, another customer walked up on her way out and said "thanks for saying something...I had a problem and asked to speak to the manager. He actually turned and walked away from me...WHILE I WAS TALKING TO HIM". It is obvious that management truly only cares about the money and not the customers. And the responses to the reviews on here are not addressing the actual problems. Most responses just say "sorry" but show ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WITH CUSTOMERS OR TELL HOW THINGS WILL BE DONE BETTER. Restaurant staff work ethic and attitude is ALWAYS a direct reflection of management and ownership. If they do not have standards neither will the staff. If they actually had any business sense they would know that good customer service would actually increase sales. Better come up with a backup plan. You won't be in the restaurant business for long...

Every time I order from this Season’s of Japan I request 2 sets of chopsticks and/or plastic ware to eat with. Also, I requested steamed rice where indicated and I requested my steak cooked medium rare, again, where it’s indicated. NEVER EVER have they gotten any of my requests right. I order via Uber Eats and on the delivery bag my receipt is stapled. All of the aforementioned requests are CLEARLY stated on the receipt. When I call I am treated extremely poorly and they act as if it’s Uber Eats’ fault when obviously they have nothing to do with the mistakes. I requested to speak with the manager who, of course, wasn’t there. I was told to ā€œcall back later.ā€ I asked for the managers name so that I could ask for them by name when I do call back. The restaurant employee refused to give me the manager’s name. The only resolution she suggested was for me to contact Uber Eats and have them travel all the way back to the restaurant to pick up the items that Seasons did not place in the bag and drive all the way back to my house to drop them off. That is ridiculous! Why would I expect the delivery driver to use their time and vehicle expense to make another full trip free of cost. Well, I wouldn’t so I would definitely offer the driver an additional tip. But why should I have to spend more money for the mistakes of the restaurant. The employee was extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. She did not even offer an apology. Lesson learned, NEVER order from Seasons of Japan...

I rarely go to Seasons, just not as good as Tokyo or Orchid to me. But I saw a commercial on TV for Seasons Savannah & the food looked great & we came to Statesboro Sunday & decided to go there since it was Sunday. Prices are even higher now. Then the price to add a salad or make it a combo with a drink makes it even higher. And if you want a different vegetable or veggie blend there's a higher cost for that. And they don't have carrots here. Steak was almost burnt, took me awhile to chew it. I didn't finish it. The rice itself is good. The lettuce wasn't fresh & was more carrots & purple carrots than lettuce. A good thing about Seasons is they have teriyaki, shrimp & other sauces in dispensers so you can get what you need vs at other places. The food just wasn't quite there. And I remembered why I don't come here much. And just wasn't satisfied because I love Japanese. Came back to Statesboro Monday & got Tokyo & the steak was well done but still as tender as chicken and I filled my Japanese craving the right way.

I also agree with the reviewer about the cashier. She does rush people, not very friendly, and acts annoyed if you review the menu or ask any questions about it. And it's a big menu with different options. Same items that come with or without veggies depending on whether it's bowls or entrees, combos or individual add-ons. Different meats come with different vegetables. I wanted broccoli but mine didn't come with broccoli without a surcharge but my...

This place seems to be a very popular, local place for quick-service rice bowls and sushi. I got the Monster Roll and the another deep fried roll. They seem to all come in to-go containers with packets of wasabi and ginger. Although I didn't try out the side packets, the sushi wasn't bad. I'd recommend the Monster Roll over the other one I ordered. The service was okay. It is all meant to be quick service, so you order at the counter and wait to pick up your food. The atmosphere is busy and unremarkable. People are constantly coming to pick up their orders. There are drinks and plastic forks at the side. My favorite part of the restaurant is the self-serve station of yum-yum sauce. Overall, would recommend for quick, to-go sushi.

I went because I saw the Miso Soup on the menu. In the photos it looks very good but after ordering, I only received water with coloring and some onions. I went to talk to the them and they told me this photo was not of that place, as much as I tried to explain that this photo appears in its location, they did not believe me and were very indifferent. They told me that this photo belonged to another restaurant, but no, it is its location in google maps. Very disappointed 😣

I went here based on the high score reviews and I’m really questioning if everyone has ever actually had sushi before. They didn’t even have chop sticks! I’ve never had to eat sushi with a fork before. The food was served fast but that’s not usually a good thing for sushi. This place was like a truck stop sushi place. Soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi was all served out of small packets. No duck sauce offered for the rice. 2 stars is being generous.
