We love Chick Fil A but did not have a good experience this time around. We did a curbside order. After 25 minutes, I get a notification that the food was ready. I waited an additional 10 minutes and no one came out. I went inside to see what was going on. My food was sitting on the counter but milkshakes weren't ready. They were waiting on that. By the time they were ready, the food was no longer hot. A very nice girl did take my order back and made sure we had hot food...thank you! I get to the car, and we are missing food and part of the order was incorrect. In addition, the lid was not on the shake correctly. When we tried to pull it out of the drink carrier, the lid came off, and the cup spilled all over my car. I go back in to at least get the nuggets that we are missing. The same very kind girl got the nuggets and a new milkshake...again, thank you!!! The whole process took over 45 minutes. I have never experienced such long wait times at a chick fil a. I've also never had multiple mishaps in an order. I understand that things happen. However, other than the one very sweet girl, no one cared or was eager to help. It was a bit discouraging. I know many places are short-staffed right now. I totally get that and show patience in those instances. Read more06.25.2023 ~ UPDATE: The drive-thru issues have been worked out & using the drive-thru is relatively quick & easy!! Because of how well loved Chick-fil-A is loved, Statesboro's Northside Dr location is & will stay a very popular & busy place. However, even as busy as it is, they do run the drive-thru as a well oiled system. You won't be disappointed in getting your Chick-fil-A "fix" taken care of at this location!!
I'd really love nothing more than to give this Chick-fil-A 5-stars, especially after they closed for several months to demolish the old building to rebuild a better one with a better drive-thru configuration, but I can't do that right now. They still seem to have some "hiccups" to work out. The inside que-line/carry-out/app order pick-up area "feels" & "is" very cluttered & disorganized. Wait times seem rather long, even with tons of employees behind the counter. So far the several trips/orders through the new drive-thru haven't gone well as the orders have been messed up (items ordered not correct or missing) & now we pull over after getting our drive-thru order to go through it & get it corrected before leaving the parking lot. We will continue to do this until they get all the "bugs" worked out & are back to functioning as the well-oiled...
Read more12-20-21 abt 4:30pm- HORRIBLE. Haven't eaten here in over a year, thought we'd give them a try, dine in. I am besides myself as to how BAD this place has gone down. Food was missing from our orders, had to return to counter 4 different times because they left so many items out. Food was cold, nuggets were DRY & over-cooked. The grilled chicken thing that supposed to be a sandwich was LESS than half the normal size, the bread was stale- even items that were supposed to be included with the main items were missing, I'm sick of these places raising their prices on EVERYTHING and the portions & quality of food are deteriorating little at a time so that their customers won't notice- Great way to go out of business within a short time period- People need to wake up and stop tolerating this B.S.!!
