I’ve been going to Dunkin’ almost daily for years now. I just moved down here from PA, and cannot believe how bad this specific Dunkin’ is when it comes to ripping people off. Not only is it the most expensive location I’ve been to yet, but multiple times now I’ve been given my drink only filled 2/3 of the way. When I politely said something they dismissed it and said it was because I ordered “less ice”. I’ve been ordering this drink for years now and no other Dunkin’ has ever given me this issue.
Today was my final straw. I ordered my usual drink and once I parked somewhere I opened the lid to find MASSIVE blocks of ice. I took a spoon and started scooping out these icebergs in my drink (mind you this was ordered as less ice). Once I got most of the chunks out in was left with literally 1/4 cup of the drink itself. And this was before I even drank any of it.
These drinks aren’t cheap. To rip of loyal customers like this is honestly disgusting. I’m not usually one to complain, but I can’t just let this go.
I worked in coffee shops for many years, and I would have never even dreamed of handing someone drinks like this.
I think it’s time to find a new coffee shop. I highly suggest anyone in this area to...
Read moreThere is a GOOD REASON that the drive-thru line for this place is typically backed up out into the street during the AM. That’s because it is GOOD! Do yourself a favor & park, walk inside, & place your order face-to-face. The staff is always friendly, patient (…I’m terrible at making my donut choices fast!), efficient, & helpful. The management is right there on-site, & they work side-by-side with the junior staff. & EVERYONE works SO HARD here!! It is pretty damn impressive! They all do their best to get your order right, & they’ll “make things right” IF a mistake is made. (In comparison, some of the nearby fast food places are horrible. Poorly run, slow service, & questionable food quality! They could learn a thing or 2 from this Dunkin!) … My ONLY complaints would be that they no longer sell Coconut donuts (…not enough demand I was told), & their Apple Fritters are weak (…the Apple Fritters that I grew up with were HUGE, full of chunks of apple, & had a crunchy exterior. Theirs are just a glazed donut with some apple flavor added. I’d GLADLY pay more $$ for a “real”...
Read moreWent in this morning to get donuts for children's Sunday school class as a treat. We do this from time to time. This morning when I went in and started to the counter to order, a rude male worker got loud and told me I had to have a mask on. I told him I did not have one and my husband had just drove over to Burger King to get him something while I got the donuts. He told me that was My Problem. I asked another worker if I could just pull my shirt up over my mouth and nose. She said they were not supposed to but she did wait on me and I did pull my shirt up over my face and nose. This is the 1st time they insisted you had to have a mask on for service. If they want to require it they should have some disposable ones available for people like me who did not know they changed the rules and did not have a mask readily available. When I told my husband about the rude worker he said he would have turned around told him they were other donuts shops in town that would appreciate our...
