Zero Stars zero zero zero . My experience here was horrible. We sat there for 35 minutes before anyone even looked at us. Then we finally got asked what we would like to drink from a lady and then we didn't see her for 30 minutes again after that. We finally went to the owners and asked where are the lady that served our drinks was, and she came back over to our table and said well I wasn't supposed to be your waitress but I guess I'll take your order. I had to use Kleenex out of my purse for napkins because nobody came back to our table to even check. we had to beg for butter and refills. Which we did not get until we were finished eating. The portions were small, the people that we came in with I've been gone for an hour because they got a different waitress and we got a terrible one for some reason. And we asked the owner for help and they kind of told us to go away and set because she'll be right there which she was not. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had eating out and I was looking so forward to the Polish food that I've heard so much about period I give this place zero Stars. There's also a lady that walks around shuffling her feet yet does nothing to help anyone and does not speak English. The best pierogies and crepes I’ve ever had. Finally some REAL polish food made by polish people lol. Just like moms homemade cooking! All homemade soups too! Every day is a new kind and it repeats. Try the Dill, tortilla, beet, or stuffed pepper!!! Chicken noodle is never a bad choice either..Fast and polite / professional wait staff. Very personable and some were very attentive. Very clean. If you had a bad experience, I can bet my life it was a fluke! They get busy and are only human beings I used to waitress myself! I hate when I see bad reviews because someone went there ONCE and probably while they were a full house!! This place goes from dead to full in minutes. I’ve seen it. Only fair the girls take people by order! Clearly need a good hostess... If anything else I’d say needs improvement , the waitresses are a little understaffed when they’re slammed. This place is pretty average in terms of being a family restaurant. Pretty good prices pretty good food. The one thing they have over other family restaurants in this area is that they seem to focus a lot on polish dishes. The Polish food isn't great but it is above average and it is one of the only places around that serves Polish food without having to go to Hamtramck or the 15 and Dequindre area. Thankfully the construction on Van Dyke is finished so it is easy to get in and out. You can get in off of 15 Mile if you go through the Tim Horton's parking lot. A great place to go after seeing a movie at the MJR across the street. Service fast. Also you have to tell the cashier ahead of time if you want to put the tip on your charge card as you cannot just do it by signing the slip in adding the tip.
