Now, let's delve into the highlights of Nicky D's menu. One dish that truly impressed me was their Detroit Coney Dog. The perfectly grilled hot dog, nestled in a soft bun, topped with a savory chili sauce, diced onions, and yellow mustard, was a true flavor explosion. The balance of flavors and textures was impeccable, and each bite was an indulgent delight.
Another must-try dish is the mouthwatering Gyro. Crafted with thinly sliced gyro meat, tucked inside a warm pita bread, and topped with fresh tomatoes, onions, and tangy tzatziki sauce, this Greek-inspired dish is a crowd pleaser. The tender meat, combined with the refreshing and zesty toppings, created a satisfying and memorable experience.

Read moreThey charges my card for an extra tip. The only saving grace was Kristina. Shoutout to her cause her customer service skills and urgency was 100%! I was charge 2x for some plain french fries. I went through their drive thru Monday night going into Tuesday. I paid with my cash card thinking no big deal its just food miscellaneous purchase. Then Wednesday morning I see an update that includes a tip?? For $4 fries from the DRIVE THRU!! The total updated to $8.82. I called Wednesday and everyone is like its a ghost charge whatever but then they tell me call between 7pm and 6am some weird time to talk to a manager. I called and spoke to Maggie, she told me she couldnt not help me and to wait for it to fall off because it may be a “ghost charge due to some issues they were having. Cool I waited 24hrs like Maggie told me. The next day it is still here not refunded I call and some foreign lady either Eastern European or middle eastern says “Why did you wait so long to call?” HUHHH at this point it is Thursday, like lady I just talked to the “manager” at 2am not even 9hrs ago and they told me call in the morning to speak to the general manager. But why are you blaming me??? Why is that your first question to the customer? Maggie also said the general manager only works from 9am-10am and that is the time I have to be at work. Maggie was no help and did not seem to want to help. I FINALLY spoke to Kristina who helped me and gave me a refund Friday morning . They are sketchy af there. The general manager is supposed to be looking into the issue. We will see. She is the only reason I havent cusssed them out. So petty over $4 DRIVE THRU FRIESSSS. Petty bums...
Read moreIt is a very rare occasion that they get my order right here, I’m not sure if it is the cashier taking my order wrong or the cooks that don’t know how to read tickets. I always order the same exact thing, each time I go. A Greek salad NO CHICKEN. 7 out of 10 times they will put chicken on it. I can’t tell if I’m being charged for chicken or not because each time I go there my total is a different amount.
I was there last night, and ordered a Greek salad no chicken with an extra pita bread. After the cashier gave me my food in the drive-through, I ripped open my bag (because they double knot it) to check my order, and I realize that they did not put in any pita bread so I waved her over by the window and told her that, and she acted as if I was lying about two pieces of pita bread. Pathetic. After a minute she gave me the two pieces of pita bread that I ordered and paid for, when I got home I opened my salad to eat and realized they put chicken on it, after specifically saying NO CHICKEN.
I understand they are a busy restaurant, but I feel as though they rush you while you are ordering through the drive-through, and they still mess up. It’s just terrible. Also, the employee that is bagging, the food should really read the ticket and double check the food before they give it out wrong. Overall, just not a...
