City Burger - Sterling Heights
Food: The variety of burgers, chicken, and fish sandwiches is amazing. This will be your most difficult choice all week. I’ve never had a bad meal at City Burger. Today’s meal was The Detroiter. It’s a big, juicy, delicious double patty burger with American cheese, mozzarella cheese, and a fried egg on top. It’s beautiful just to look at. All their burgers are. The Detroiter reflects the city that it was named after. It’s bigger, cheesier, and it’s got a unique blend of things that all work really well together… just like our city.
Hospitality: The drive through staff is fast and friendly. I’ve never had a long wait. I have not had the pleasure of dining inside the restaurant to comment on the hospitality experience.
Service: It’s 10 minutes to the best burger of your life. Most restaurants can’t match that level of service especially for a premium product like a city burger. There are lots of people going in and out of City Burger, but I’ve never seen anybody waiting very long. Just call ahead and order or order online.
Housekeeping: I’ve only been through the drive through so I can’t comment on the interior of the restaurant or the restrooms. The exterior is bright and well-maintained.
Atmosphere: City Burger is a drive through or dine in restaurant. It’s great for casual dining especially if you are in a hurry and love great burgers.
Conclusion: You will do no better in the Detroit area than City Burger. It will be one of the greatest burgers of your life, and you won’t run out of options to keep you coming back. They have three locations in Sterling Heights, Warren, and White Lake to serve the northern Detroit suburbs. Support a great local Detroit restaurant and have a City...

Joe, the manager, needs to also be investigated for lying/covering up for his employees. We expressed our frustration with our DoorDash driver stealing our first order, and you would think if you reordered, they would ensure your order was correct the second time around.. Not only were our four sliders dry and stale, they didn’t come with any toppings nor did they make our milkshakes. So after waiting 3 hours for food while being sick, I was never able to eat because the food was so trash! Highly disappointing! It was very weird how the manager admitted to forgetting the toppings on the sliders but REFUSED to admit they forgot to make our milkshakes literally after confirming they would make them. Joe even went to the extent to say he saw his employee hand the shakes over and would send us video footage of them handing our milkshakes to the new driver. (Yeah right!) & Why would our driver give us food but then lie about receiving milkshakes?! When she already told us that she asked you all did she receive everything for the order. Bottom line is I def don’t think the driver was lying.
Joe never apologized for the screw up and blamed everything on DoorDash! It’s always about customer service for me and we received NONE! Joe’s managerial skills need improving, and quite frank, I don’t see how he’s anyones manager after speaking to him for 10min about the order and then to still send trash burgers and no drinks! On top of that you lie just to cover up your mistakes and the mistakes of your employees (smh).
Again, I’ll never be back again.. Savvy burgers had much...
