I hate to give these reviews but i do this for my peopleâŚ.this place does not serve black people right at all. and also, their food sucks. i came here on 2/25 around 11:45am. i ordered a chicken bacon ranch grinder, the chocolate cake, and a 20oz. first upon entering, strike one honestly, i was met with a worker that had hands covered in food and tapping the screenâŚasking me repeatedly to speak up (i had a mask on but i was DEFINITELY speaking loud enough for everyone to hear me in there, even the customers). until i took my mask off and i spoke the same volume that i was at under my mask, now she can suddenly hear better. that was strike two as it made me feel uncomfortable honestly and her tone was not the nicest. strike three, my sandwich took WAY too long to make, she said about 8-10 minutes but it was more like 15. i put in my order at 11:48 and was out by 12:05 and i was almost late to my next destination due to that. and ive made grinders and have had grinders made at different places, it really doesnât take that long to make a grinderâŚ.especially as slow as they were, at least only 5 people in there for the buffet. and also, they were out of chocolate cake, so i had to get red velvet instead. no biggie, but i does bring down the rating imo.
upon getting the food, i was not satisfied at all. the sandwich breadâi have never seen grinder bread resemble sub bread so well, and i spent $14 on this while on the sub bread was supposed to be $12 and the grinder $13âŚ.literally looked like sub bread w the ends cut off. couldâve fooled me. and then, it was so dry and hard, that even warming it up did not help. all the contents of the sandwich was just mushy and had no flavor or unique kind of taste, very little bacon and chicken. also in addition to that, looking at my receipt, i was charged extra for mayo when she asked, I WAS NOT LET KNOWN THAT MAYOâMaYo yallâWAS .26¢ EXTRA. yes, .26¢, but you know how expensive food is nowadays so it does matter! i had to throw the rest of the sandwich away bc after eating some of it it literally wasnât good anymore. was too hard and dry and had a mushy taste. the cake was the only thing i liked. i forgot my pop rushing out, but thats on me. they said i can come back for it. the only good par
now the part for my peoplesâŚ.they do not like their black patrons. two other black people came in before me (one also with a mask) and the same lady did the same thing ahead did to them, talk to them rudely, said she couldnât hear them, all that, but a family of white folks was treated so well manneredâŚ.and the whole time i was waiting for my order, i just kept getting weird stares and even one employee was just simply staring at me not saying a single how are you or anything, i said something and they turned back to what they were doing, ultimately ignoring me.
it is 7:40am right now, me writing this at work, 2/26. i am sick from the sandwich, my stomach constantly hurting and keep using the bathroom, but i guess it was worth the $24 i...
Read moreFood is very good. Good variety to choose from. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food. Only thing I didn't care for was the price of the buffet. Buffet and drink was almost $19. It's actually cheaper to buy a large pizza here than the cost of the buffet. Unless you yourself are looking to eat at least a large pizza worth of food, the buffet really isn't worth the money for what food your gonna fit. Worth the try and was good but just a bit too pricy.
Update
Came here for once again for a 7pm eat-in dinner with myself and 2 friends. We previewed their online website menu prior to coming to the store. Decided upon going with the 2 large 3-topping pizzas for $24.99. Also got 3 drinks and also a desert pizza that we wanted to take-home. When we came in to order, an older blonde hair woman took our order. She didnt seem to know the online website menu at all but seemed to make it work. She seemed very inconvenienced, rude, and flustered by our 3 pizza, 3 drink order. She seemed to only want to focus on buffet orders. We decided not on the buffet being the cost would have been more than the 3 pizzas and 3 drinks we did order. It shouldn't be a problem to in-store place a pizza order anyway (this is a pizza place...). I paid for our order in full. We had asked lastly on a couple ranches to go with our pizza and she quickly, shortly, and very rudely asked us to step aside out of the way so she could wait on the family in line behind us to take their order. She took their order while we stood aside still waiting for our drink cups and an answer on ranch (only should have took a second). After their 5-min family order, we got our drink cups and ranch answer. The 2 pizzas came out and were great. I went back up to get a box (for the food we didnt finish) and our desert to-go pizza. She once again was very inconvenienced by my presence. Come to find out, she never put in our desert pizza even though I paid for it when we originally ordered. So we then had to further wait on that after we were finished eating and ready to go. We got our desert pizza and then left. I've decided now that after all of this... I simply cannot come back here anymore. From the moment we ordered, to the time we left, I did not feel wanted or welcomed in this store because of the customer service that she presented to us. There's other food alternatives around that I believe we'd have better odds with. This is really unfortunate because the food here is really good. I wish it could have been a better, different outcome, but...
Read morePizzanoâs Buffet was great when I went to try the buffet. There were some minor issues, but the food, selection, and service were amazing. Most importantly, the pizza is the real deal. Itâs actual pizzeria pizza! All too often pizza buffets have super flat, tasteless, cardboard pizza. Pizzanoâs Buffet makes delicious, flavorful pies using neighborhood pizzeria quality ingredients. And the pies just keep coming! If at any moment there isnât one that youâd like just wait five minutes or so and thereâs bound to be a more tempting option being put out.
But itâs not just the delicious pizza. I ended up going up multiple times for just one more Italian pita sandwich. Yes, I kept telling myself Iâd just get one more over and over again. If anything on that buffet was on the average side, maybe it was the spaghettiâbut only because my family is used to thin spaghetti noodles and they use normal thickness noodles. I didnât have soup personally, but one member of my party had two bowls and that wouldnât have happened unless it was good.
The workers were friendly and attentive. At one point there were no clean plates left and when notified, they immediately got two people to bring out plates, bowls, and anything else that was running low. They appear to want guests to really enjoy the buffet.
One of the extremely minor issues is that the price is neither whatâs on the website nor what they tell you on the phone. We paid $14.55 per person plus tax. Itâs worth it for sure, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. The other is the dining room. Itâs certainly clean enough, but itâs super plain and would fill up very quickly if even moderately busy.
Go to Pizzanoâs Buffet for the food, selection, and service. Itâs a pizza...
