First time we tried Guu’s since the new owners stepped in. We were there to celebrate a birthday over a lunch hour. We were greeted as we entered by the friendly owner and staff. The waitress was prompt and brought a pitcher of water to keep our cups full, which we appreciated. Food was served promptly, helpful because we were there over a lunch hour. (We did make a reservation.) The food was all good. No complaints. The jalapeño Mac & cheese was a large portion & spicy. So, be sure you mention if you don’t want it too spicy. The person that ordered it loved it, so it wasn’t a problem. Everyone loved their fries. The soup was creamy wild rice and was on the thicker side, which we don’t mind. Burgers were tasty and the taco salad was huge. All in all, it’s a great place to try and to frequent! Looking forward to trying the fish fry sometime. Bonus was the chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert for the birthday girl!! It was huge, impressionable and rich! Compliments to this service industry crew!!

We found this place on google with hopes that the food would be great. The food was good but the service was awful. My sister and I waited just under 2 hours to finally receive our food and we got here before the dinner rush, multiple tables were empty. Our waitress took our order for our appetizer, brought it out, then left for 30 minutes before she took our dinner order. Tables that were empty became full and they received their food before us and left. It was only when I asked another waitress if she could check on our food that we received it. All I did was order chicken. The chicken was not crispy like the pictures show and tasted like they microwaved it for five minutes and threw it on my plate. It was a total waste of time for average food. I normally don't complain about these types of things because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure this is a great restaurant but I will definitely not be back and do not recommend.

Repeat visit. I make a POINT to stop! Ha Taco salad (again!). Choice of protein (ground beef for me), lettuce, tomato, cheese, black olive, oniom. In house fried shell. I order it with Buffalo and ranch. Delish! We had half order of Cauliflower wings. Decent portion for two - we didn't eat them all. Ahi tuna Ceasar salad. Note: it's more of a ceasar vinegrette than a dressing. Yet was still good. Menu offered burgers, wraps, wings, sandwiches. The place was lively, but not busy or packed. Main Street is a one way (cute downtown area). Parallel parking on the right (the side of the restaurant) and angled parking on the left side of the street (across from the restaurant). We found parking at 8 on a Wednesday without issues. Staff was friendly. Prices were fair. Quality was great. Ranch was really good, too... Really good spot!!

Guu's on Main is a great place to go for a casual meal and a drink. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu features a variety of pub favorites, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fish fry. There is also a full bar with a wide selection of beers on tap.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Guu's on Main, and I was very impressed with the food and service. I started with the Wisconsin cheese curds, which were perfectly fried and served with a delicious dipping sauce. For my main course, I had the blackened salmon, which was cooked perfectly and served with a flavorful sauce. I finished my meal with the chocolate lava cake, which was rich and decadent.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Guu's on Main. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend Guu's on Main to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a casual meal and a drink.

Here are some additional details about my experience:

Food: The food at Guu's on Main is consistently good. The menu features a variety of pub favorites, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Service: The service at Guu's on Main is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always make sure you have everything you need. They are also very knowledgeable about the menu and can help you make the best choice.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Guu's on Main is warm and inviting. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Stevens Point, and it has a great view of the street. The interior is decorated in a warm and inviting style, and there is a large bar area where you can relax and enjoy a drink.

Overall, I highly recommend Guu's on Main to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a casual meal and a drink. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere...

I can admit that I haven't always been keen on this bar, but today was more than the last straw. Judging by what other patrons have communicated to me the manager, Elizabeth is not the kindest person you might encounter, and today was no exception, which has brought me to write this review.

Today I was invited by a friend out for a drink, and not 60 seconds after walking into the bar I was greeted with absolute rudeness, and negativity, and baseless allegations for which she had no right to accuse me of. I have never caused an ounce of trouble at Guu's for any reason so for her to belittle me in front of other patrons was embarrassing to say the least, and personally I think for Guu's to employ such a negative person is a disservice to their own business, not just because they lost my business, but the scene that she created had a couple of my own friends saying that they would not be coming back to Guu's If I had to guess this was also the thought of a few of the 20 or so patrons who did not pay to see her negativity either.

I am not sure what might have been on her mind today, but in my opinion I believe Elizabeth has singled me out solely because of the color of my skin. Over the years I have experienced anecdotal evidence from Elizabeth's actions to suggest this. The word racist is not something that I throw around lightly, and sometimes it is hard to identify, but that is the vibe that personally I have got from my dealings with this woman. I will continue to share my negative experience with other people in Stevens Point, because although I might not directly have any issue with any other bartender at Guu's, I believe personally Elizabeth is a reflection on the Guu's establishment itself. No patron deserves to be treated the way that I was, and I don't believe I was the...

If Guu’s was a person, I’d propose to them. Let’s talk food. The Reuben eggrolls. I mean, holy shit. I’m not even religious, but I’d build a shrine for those crispy little blessings. Pair them with my favorite brew on tap and you’ve got the perfect storm of indulgence. Whether you’re there for a light buzz or full-send blackout, their drink selection’s got you covered. Cocktails? Spot on. Beer? Cold and plentiful. Whatever you’re sipping on, Guu’s will make sure you’re living your absolute best, most unhinged life.

I have never ordered a bad thing here. Burgers, sammies, apps—every bite feels borderline illegal it’s so tasty. Even if you’re just popping in for snacks, you’ll leave wondering why you haven’t come here more. Add to that a wait staff that makes you feel like you’ve been coming here for years (even if it’s your first time) it’s no wonder I’m absolutely feral for this place.

Guu’s is more than a pub; it’s a goddamn rite of passage. If you’re not stopping here every chance you get, are you even living? Go to Guu’s, get the eggrolls, slam a brew, and tell me I’m wrong....
