Dunn Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Stillwater

If I can rate it 4.5, I would. I’m not one for chains but I enjoy this location. They have good drip coffee and delightful muffins. The baristas are very nice. My only feedback is how noisy they can be when working behind the bar. It’s happened twice where I come to study and they are talking really loudly or laughing really loudly. This happened this past Saturday at 6:00 AM. Wish I had headphones with me. Nothing wrong with chit chat when working but I work in the coffee industry and I’ve learned in my time to maintain professionalism in front of customers and not to distract guests. Staff during the morning drive-thru consistently forget to add creamer to coffee, despite even saying, "Here's your dark roast with cream" as they hand it to me. I go through the drive-thru for a reason and it's incredibly inconvenient to pop off the lid to my coffee to make sure there's cream in there. It's even worse to arrive at work and have a coffee that's incorrectly made. It happened again this morning, and when I called to talk to a manager/supervisor, I was told that the manager (Hannah) would be in at noon tomorrow. Outstanding coffee and cold brew. Beans roasted on site. My fav is a coffee frappe with only 1 scoop of powder and whole milk. Don't need all the sugar in a regular drink and the whole milk fat is good for me, plus it helps give back some of what I'm taking away with less frappe powder. Love to sit around the fireplace and relax in the winter, or outside at a table in the sun in the other months. My dogs love this place too.
