Yesterday, we went to CARIBOU in Market Place, Stillwater near Target. We intended to buy one hundred $5 coffee cards that we send our customers as a way of thanking them for spending their hard earned money at our store. We called ahead to Caribou to verify that we would be stopping by for the transaction and asked for the best time to visit. Upon arrival, the female employee of the day, along with the store manager complained to my co-worker how inconvenient it was for them to process 100 cards manually through their machine. I don't quite understand how their inadequate system became our fault especially when they were informed of our intent prior to the visit. My co-worker could not believe how rude and unhelpful those two women were. It took less than 30 minutes to process the cards and they complained how much work it was after a busy previous hour. After considering that we had just spent $500 in their store for less than 30 minutes work, without ANY THANKS, I decided to visit the store and speak with the manager. I called prior to my visit to ask the female employee of the day to have the manager CALL ME which did not happen. When I arrived, the manager made excuses why my call was not returned. I explained to her that they had a $500 sale without making one complex cup of coffee, heating one sandwich, bagging one cookie or waiting on any customers. Absolutely unbelievable!! I returned all 100 cards and got a refund. We have spent hundreds of dollars at the Stillwater location, but NO MORE! ...
Read moreI used to love coming in to this store I always thought the staff was amazing. Until I ran into one outside of her work. We had a few altercations but I’m a strong believe that if it happens outside of work then it is what it is so I never said anything. But I started avoiding going because I didn’t want another one. Finally one day I stopped in because I really wanted caribou. At first I didn’t see the employee so I get relieved the two employees I could see kindly asked me to wait one minuet which was no problem but then the one that I had an altercation with stepped out from the back. I was perfectly fine working with them but as she got to the register and saw it was me the employee very rudely turned around and goes to one of the employees that was clearly very busy and says can you help her and practically pushed them out of the way to start doing what they were to force them into helping me. I can say I most likely will not be going back. I’d rather impatiently wait in the Starbucks drive through for 30 minuets then be treated like that. If you have a problem with someone leave it...
Read moreI have been attending this caribou on an almost daily basis for many years on and off depending on where I am working or living. I love all the long term staff, and they have added a few fantastic new baristas to their lovely staff. Some of the newer employees don't really live up to those such as Austin, Emily, and Beth. The coffee is always good. Diana is newer, but she is lovely and seeks to connect with everyone, especially those of us who has been going there for many years. But anyways. The only caribou I ever go to. All others kinda suck. I love the...
