The food was delicious on the way down; however, I found myself using the restroom quite quickly after and getting ill. Diarrhea, stomach troubles, and nausea. The worst part is that I only enjoyed three dishes: Lo mein, chicken salad, and the rice.
I will not speculate on the health and safety procedures in this restraunt as my experience could be in the minority; however, if other patrons voice similar concerns in these reviews, I would recommend eating somewhere else.
Service was excellent. I was seated quickly and you pay before you dine. They do offer employees that bus your dishes to there dish room and give your drinks but other than that, you serve yourself.
The atmosphere is outdated and looks to be home in the late 90s. With the prices they offer, I'm surprised they haven't renovated this aging restaurant to give it a more inviting feeling.
The prices are not reasonable knowing that the product they offer is cheap and comes in bulk. You can see the boxes of dry products in the hallway by the bathroom doors.
The only really redeeming quality of this restaurant is the area where a Chief cooks your food in front of you. It is more of performance and it is really nice to watch. All you have to do is get a bowl of raw uncooked ingredients from a separate buffet and offer it to the chief on duty. They will prepare your dish before your eyes. Only if this was the main...
Read moreMongolian has been a favorite place of ours to eat over past ten or so years, great food good service, but since they have reopened from lock downs from covid it's been hit and miss one day it's okay and next you ask yourself what happened to this place... never great anymore, but today was the worst over 8 min before we got our drinks ,many items were not being served, I was eating the stir fry and I got a chicken bone jammed into the roof of my mouth, found more on plate so I wouldn't eat the rest on my plate , i told the lady that came to our table and she didn't seem to care one bit took plate away and left not a sorry or anything didn't even come back to give us a refill on our drinks., we paid over 15 a person and they stopped serving crab not a deal breaker for me but what are we paying extra for if they don't serve that anymore thats what the price change was for crab and shrip, sure isn't for the poor substations they have cuz that isn't worth the the 5 dollar increase in price... so food is not been good service has not been good and you leave disappointed... maybe my last time I eat there just been bad to long now .... and like others complained about the bathrooms are disgusting the floors are gross, was never like this before... I never complain but I have been disappointed long enough I gave them the benefit of the doubt...
Read moreThis is my guilty pleasure...you got a buffet, a few selections for sushi, dessert, salad bar and the Mongolian BBQ option. There is plenty of options to choose from, they are all pretty good. I would say this is a place to choose from when looking for quantity over quality, meaning there isn't necessarily one thing they excel at, but all the options have been solid when we've been there...especially the coconut shrimp. When I get to pick a place for dinner...I've picked here just to get the coconut shrimp even though it's a half hour away.
Starting with a salad? Throw on some coconut shrimp. Sushi? With coconut shrimp...Going to the BBQ? Throw on some shrimp on the way back. Getting a bowl of ice cream??? I seriously thought about it...I like it that much, to the point I'm sure it's not healthy for me. What can I say. Anyway, service was really good for a buffet on a Saturday, the plates never stayed on the table long when empty and sodas get topped off regularly. Pretty sure my kids didn't need that much sugar and caffeine, but they did alright getting their money's worth out of it. They are just getting to that age where they might eat when we go out. Anyway highly recommended...for coconut shrimp! It might just be...
