Wendy's — Restaurant in Stillwater

Ordered two classic Asiago ranch chicken sandwich combos. Drove 10 minutes home to find BOTH of them without bacon AND cheese. Called to make sure that what was on the receipt was supposed to have bacon and cheese and they confirmed that it was. Drove 10 minutes and was told that I’d have to wait 10 minutes for them to make it fresh when they could have taken the order over the phone and had it ready when I got there. I told them I would be willing to wait for the correct food if I could have a refund and they said no. While the manager was authorizing the refund not once was I apologized to by the window worker or manager. I’m not one to ever leave bad reviews and I understand mistakes happen. But when a mistake is made and there is absolutely ZERO effort to reconcile the situation and make sure the customer leaves somewhat satisfied…. I visited this STILLWATER WENDY'S while visiting my son in school. Folks, l was so taken back at how clean, and how organized each crew member at this location was so attentive to the customers needs.

I witnessed the crew nembers and managers who served me washed their hands thoroughly and wiped down touched utensils on their serving lines only to exhange them out with cleaner ones. I was so impress that l had to say something.

The food lines where they prepare the food was impeccable clean. The entire restaurant was clean with lots of people in the lobby divulging in their meals. I am truly glad l came here for my chili fix. At least l know it came from a clean place in Stillwater.

Thanks to all upper and store management at this location for the cleanliness and warm embrace. I am coming back to visit, and l will be getting chili and a frosty next go around. Lol

Normally I don't like leaving negative reviews, but in this case, it's absolutely warranted! We ordered a large chili with cheese and a classic crispy chicken sandwich. We only received the chili, but did not find this out until we arrived home. I immediately called to inform the staff of the situation and was told that yes, they were aware that my sandwich had not made it into the bag and that I was welcome to come pick it up. We drove back to the drive thru and was told that they were going to make me a fresh sandwich and that I should pull up to wait .... and wait we did....18 minutes for a single chicken sandwich. Granted the staff did include a free small fry, however, I dont eat fries, so it was kind of a wasted gesture. I would much rather have not waited so long. I do love Wendy's and will continue to eat at Wendy's, but I will be driving across town to the second location...
