Zannotti's Wine Bar — Restaurant in Stillwater

I love this place!! However, the last few times I went the staff are younger and not as attentive…I am sitting here currently alone on 10/3/22 and it’s 8pm listening to Kennedy. I was here the other night when Val Gladden was here. Both nights had lots of people outside but not so many inside. I am not sure how long I have been waiting but I had to approach a young lady with long hair to request my order be taken…she said awkwardly “oh, well what do you want?”. I just asked that when she gets a moment would someone please come to take my order. It took quite awhile for a young man to come over. Pleasantly, he recalled what I had the other day so that was a nice touch. I had to ask for a menu that had the actual menu inside…but it was ok. We laughed about it. I requested #17 and it proceeded to take a long time for it to arrive. The food is always amazing. I think it’s just an all new very young and inexperienced crew. Hopefully these kids will learn and be able to keep the standard that Zannoti’s is used too. We are losing amazing places left and right in this town and I don’t want people to bail on this place just because the kids are in the process of learning. I know that the owners take great care and love their little joint. I think whomever is training needs to make sure that the new staff knows how to address guests with smiles and care. They need to make sure to make contact within 60 seconds to at least greet and get them water or to say it will be a moment. I love this place and these kids are all sweet but need time to learn!!! The restaurant was nice and we went here for our first time for my girlfriends 21st birthday.

We told the waitress it was our first time and she gave us a run down. Didn’t even realize what day it was and said she would “count today since it’s close enough for a free dessert”

Awesome we thought, until we were being bounced with different servers the whole time. The new waitress we ended up receiving did not mention her birthday or honor the dessert that was offered.

Overall, I would recommend looking at other options before coming here if it is a special night.

The craziest part is there was 2 other tables seated in there, they weren’t even busy and still couldn’t give us the time of the day.

We ordered the duck nachos and the tortilla chips were stale and came directly from a bag from Walmart.

The food isn’t the reason for this negative review, I gave it 2 stars. You should be addressing the other factors on how you forgot it was a BIRTHDAY!

We thought we chose the right place but there was no gratitude showed and this is not the response I would of thought to receive

I find that comedic as there was no awareness on your side. I happened to notice you as well and saw you with your head tucked on your phone under the table the whole time.

All three of us had never been to this restaurant, and it was pretty dead so we almost thought it was closed. We walked in and actually were NOT greeted at all, we stood there waiting for someone to say something or acknowledge us. So yes we did look confused, confused why nobody working could acknowledge us. After being embarrassed in the middle of the restaurant we opted to eat outside, it was a nice day as well. Instantly felt unwelcome and as if we were inconveniencing them. My other female friend was doing most of the talking, she was being extremely polite and acting normal. We had plans after and maybe we might have been on the phone distracted, but that’s the only thing I could think of. The guy who “couldn’t keep his head up and eyes open” was exhausted coming right off driving all day, not a single one of us had a drop of alcohol. For “very experienced” servers they definitely dropped the ball on this one. But hey! Their is an amazing bar right next door called stables, who had no problem welcoming us in and serving us :)

Got here completely sober with two friends and the manager comes out and says we were obviously very drunk and he wouldn’t serve any of us after showing id’s. It made us feel very uncomfortable and confused. Will not be...
