The experience we had for our very first time there was HORRIBLE due to the lack of customer service and the over packed facility and over booking of the lanes. We made a reservation for 7pm on Saturday 01/23 got there and got registered was told we had to wait until til 7pm to start so we waited. The time of 7pm arrived names was put in and we were ready to start bowling the lanes were never set up to start bowling so now 10 minutes has passed on our 2 hour limit we purchased. As time pass as we are bowling we are on lanes 25-26 lane 25 on every other bowler messes up so we have to call for service on every other bowler not only that we have to fix the score as well so with us having to do this our time is still spent waiting and time is steady being deducted from our limit. So as we are in our 2nd game on lane 26 we are down to 30 minutes left and we asked the and employee Adrian Jones if we could purchase another hour and he states yes but in the process he cuts our game off dead in the middle being that we still had 30 minutes left on our 2 hour that we had already purchased, said that he would move us to lane 28 said he would comp us for the inconvenience and give us 2 hours we said ok but he then comes back and states that he would have to move us somewhere else due to the 9pm reservation was there and they asked for 2 lanes but he ended up giving them 4 lanes due to them saying the had 15 people to them having over 20 people so he them comes back to us and states that he has no more lanes available to even move us anywhere. So all and all we lost 30 minutes on lane 25 due to lane issues and waiting for someone and lost 30 minutes on lane 26 due to him just cutting our game/lane off. He comp us with game cards but we are all adults we came to bowl not play games in the arcade the time that was taken away we didn't and couldn't get back due to the over booking and the mistreatment like we didn't spend money and the facility as well. Basically we were at that point forced to leave due to them telling the next party to take over the lanes we had been told we...
Read moreI am writing this to inform everyone of a situation that occurred at PinStrikes Bowling Ally in Stockbridge. On October 7th, our basketball organization attended PinStrikes to celebrate our players accomplishments from this summer. We had a party of about 15 people and spent well over $300. We arrived at 6:30pm. Once we arrived, one of the kids in our party has several allergies so I asked the front desk if it would be ok to bring in a pizza for that individual. The person I spoke to at the front said it was no problem. Around 8:30pm, we noticed a police officer lurking around our area. After about 1 min, one of the adults in our party asked if everything was ok. The police officer proceeded to say “outside food was not allowed”. When I explained to him why the box of pizza was on the table and that someone up front said it was fine to bring it in, he responded with “outside food is not allowed and the manager told me to come over to let you all know.” One of our parents asked the police officer “when is it ok to have police officers do customer service work”. Because several of our parents were offended by the police officer, I went to go find the manager. I believe the manager on duty that evening was Kim Appler. She came over and we all asked why couldn’t she come over to tell us about the pizza box instead of sending a police officer. She responded by telling us he was just doing his job. We were all very confused and offended and decided to leave. We have come to this location for many celebrations and will be looking for a new place to celebrate. We were all shocked as to how the manager and the police officer handled themselves. Not to make this into a race issue but everyone in my party is Black and the manager and police officer are white so I’m sure some can understand the frustration. I reached out to Tim Mullen who happened to be the regional manager 4 days ago and have yet to...
Read moreI took my son to Pin Strikes as a birthday thing. We arrived and noticed that there were vacant lanes so we were happy because we hadn't made prior arrangements. We noticed at least 2 to 3 parties so it was busy and noisy towards the end lanes but if we were assigned to a middle lane we could bowl enjoyably. The Cashier told us we would be added to a waiting list, I asked how long was the wait and her reply was not clear but she also mentioned lane 3. We got our shoes and looked at lane 3, it was game ready for us however the area was crowded with party-goers. Our bench had overflow from the neighboring party and the table was covered in glasses and sticky drink and food residue. We opted to occupy bench 4 and not order food so we didn't have to deal with the current messy state of things. We grabbed 2 balls and cleared the existing 6 that were there. Staff came to ask about the glasses on the table and when we said they weren't ours, she left instead of clearing and cleaning the area. I eventually put the glasses in a cleaning bin that was in the rear near the private party rooms. When people came to occupy lane 4 we had to engage the overflow to let them know we needed our space. The party of 4 used 6 balls that we tried to keep on their side. They would circle around on our side to get to the back of their bench.... No excuse me or nothing. Manners have completely diminished!!! It was the next couple that seemed more like-minded and easy-going. We finished our time out with them and left finally feeling better at the end. The bowling experience is more interactive than I remember, since COVID has become a cruel reminder of why distancing is so vital. Pin Strikes should space people out if possible or ask if people have a preferred assignment area, and have staff to clear and clean newly...
