My daughter was having a chorus concert so we needed a quick and easy dinner so we had ordered from Davids pizza. When I went to pick my pizza up the sauce and pizza toppings we wrong but I did not have time before her concert to do anything else so I was charged full price for a pizza that I didn't really want. You told me that you would make it up next time I ordered. I came in about 5 weeks later and was told that my DEAL had EXPIRED. It was not a deal, it was your chance to make a bad situation with your customer a better one.I saw my name on the list still and so did you.The teenager I was being helped by said she would ask the owner what she could do for me (the guy in the blue dress shirt in the lobby). You told her to tell me that I could have TWO DOLLARS off. Are you $%&^*#% serious! Finally I wanted to let YOU know that YOU have lost a long time customer over 6 dollars worth of food cost and two dollars worth of labor.I'd say that worked out pretty well huh? I will end this review by suggesting a better tasting, friendlier staffed, more reasonably priced,non-greedy pizza place to take your family too and that would be EDDIES PIZZA now conveniently located right down the street from you on Benjamin Holt in marina shopping center close to I-5. One last suggestion to you Davids owner guy, have dinner at Eddies Pizza and learn from them how to treat a customer! Thank you internet. I've...
Read moreWell, today, my wife and I decided to stop at the Lincoln Center David's Pizza. We had not been here for at least a year.
We ordered the lunch special that includes a personal pizza with one topping of your choice, fries or a salad, and a soda. The price listed on their menu was $10.99 for this special. Not a bad deal, we thought.
I asked for two extra toppings for my personal pizza @ .75 cents per additional topping. Still not bad.
When the bill came, I noticed we were charged $12.99 for the lunch special. When I asked our waitress about the charge discrepancy, she pointed to the bottom of the menu that stated, "Prices on menu are invalid."
Really? I understand everything keeps rising, although businesses seem to increase their prices at 2-3 times the rate of most employee raises.
I have NEVER experienced a menu stating something like this. How can a customer know the food items' prices with such a statement? If the owners cannot afford to reprint the plastic-coated paper menus, I worry about their ability to run this restaurant properly.
I will not be returning to this restaurant because I do not want to guess their prices. I also thought their pizza dough was much flatter than it used to be.
While the waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and the pizza taste was acceptable, I can no longer recommend this restaurant....
Read moreNever again! We're regulars and have been for years but no more they lack the basic skills to give customers raw, soggy bottoms are ridiculous. I specifically asked for well cooked pizza as prior experience have shown they do not respect or value customers specfic request to cook correctly for a family who has (compromised immune system ).We can not eat raw dough and if we wanted to cook a pizza we would have went to Papa John. We did not pay $60 plus $5 tip for pick up to have wet, soggy or contaminated dough pizza. I was left on hold for 4 minutes without anyone coming to answer concerns. Called back told concerns to whoever received phone call she placed me on hold for manager (Tory) came on I voice my concers she has the gall to indicated well give you a free medium pizza but then places blame on consumer indicating we had been over a hour late very untrue as in the same sentence took blame but somehow again placed blame on us. We will not ever comeback as accountability is severely lacking and arrogance shine through the phone call. We do not want a free pizza from a establishment that can't even cook are food correctly well paying for it. What in the world would we want a free uncooked pizza from unkind, power trip, arrogant individual working at this...
