I first experienced Chik-Fil-A when I lived in Texas, where fell in love with the food, the variety of sauces, and the excellent customer service. It seemed like the only fast food restaurant going above and beyond to make the customers day. I loved Chik Fil-A so much, as a Community Service Officer in Student Council, I teamed up with the manager to organize various community service events.
Now that I am in my home state it's a real treat to eat at a Chik Fil-A whenever I come across one. That being said, I was excited to see one coming to Stockton only 5 minutes away from my work. I knew the lines would be crazy long so I left my house 30 minutes early just so I could enjoy a simple chicken sandwich and a sweet tea. I went through the line and everything seemed fine, I was making excellent time and would have no trouble getting to work early.... so I thought. I pulled up to the pick up window after ordering a sweet tea and the #1 seller, the Chik Fill-A sandwich. The cashier hands me my sweet tea and then informs me it will be a minute for my sandwich. I don't think anything of it, bc they just opened and the line is crazy and I planned for delays. After a minute she asks me to pull into the parking space facing the pick up window and put my hazards on and they would bring my food out shortly. I still wasn't upset, but was a little flabbergasted that they did have a chicken sandwich made yet. Never the less, I pulled into the parking space and put my hazards on like she instructed. I thought to myself, the next guys gonna have to wait too! Nope! He didn't wait. I watched him and 10 other cars behind me all get their drinks and food as I sat waiting with my hazards on infront of the window. Surely these people didn't just order milkshakes and sweet tea?!?! Surely someone in this parade of cars has ordered chicken sandwiches and got them by now, so where is mine?!?!?! It wasn't a complicated order. My name is not Bonquiqui, but maybe it should have been! 3pm was approaching and I didn't want to be late for work so I got out of my car and walked up to the window and asked if I was supposed to go inside for my food, thinking perhaps I misunderstood "pull in, put on your hazards and we'll be right out"? I was not misinformed. They forgot me. I was told again that it would be right out. As soon as I sat back in my car, an employee finally brought me my food, a soggy sandwich and cold fries, "Here ya go." ... Here you go? You forgot me, made me late for work, and my food is soggy and fries are cold. The Chik Fil A I know and love would have offered to refund my meal or at least given me coupons for a free sandwich.
I know this is a new location and maybe I should just let it go, but I have never experienced a chik fil a like this. Maybe it's just Stockton? I don't like to think like that but I just can't figure it out. It was not a pleasure. It was a major disappointment.
Giving two stars because I still recommend chik fil a everywhere else and because I tried the sweet sriracha sauce and it was pretty good.......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy last 2 experiences have been less than great. I work at a Chick-fil-A in Nevada and I know some reviews can be exaggerated but Iāll leave the time and date so cameras can be checked š¤·āāļø This last time at 9:11pm October 22, 2022 there was a very long line and there was no sense of urgency. There was one girl at the register and a few standing around with seemingly no purpose. Even if they were clocked out, standing around the front looks like they are ignoring guests because from my perspective I donāt know if they are clocked in or not. The girl who helped me had no recognizable uniform and was wearing a personal sweater as well as no name tag. (If she was signed in to the till the name is Alannah, though she may have been using someone elseās. She had long black hair and it wasnāt pulled back at all. When I first was in line she was by the door to the kitchen, hair down eating a wrap, then by the time I got to the front she took the register. I saw her take the order after me and her hair was touching a cup sitting on the counter, so Iām glad I didnāt get a drink. I could foresee her getting hair in the icebin. This just was a frustrating experience. Iād like as a guest to feel that my order is a priority and that my food wonāt have hair in it. The experience prior was similar with the line being long and sense of urgency being nonexistent though I donāt remember that date.
A few minutes after I posted, my friend got his food and pulled out a fry with a hair in it. I went up and showed them and the lady said ok what size was it and gave me a new one but showed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās not my pleasure to report this lackluster location.
Arrival 1105am One person at the register. Parking is a cluster due to location. Seating area is large with a play room. It has solar covered parking which is cool. Door dash people are waiting long times for their orders also.
Cars NOT displaying handicap place cards or license plates are in those spots.
There are hands free trash cans here. Ceiling tile vents are dusty. Sprinkler heads are dusty.
Thereās SEVEN cameras near the registers. Iām not sure if I feel safe or if Iām under excessive surveillance. Maybe they donāt trust workers. Itās weird. No support from managers or the owner operator. Nobody is walking the floor to check on customers. They take Apple Pay.
I was finally able to order at 1114am. So it took 10 minutes to get to the register for dine in. Food arrived at 1121am.
They have electrical outlets at the tables so you can get work done while you wait. Itās going to be a while.
Trash is overflowing all over: Bathrooms and all around the restaurant.
Bathroom is average cleanliness.
Kids booster seats and high chairs are filthy.
Food tastes amazing. I had nuggets, mac and cheese, pepper mint shake, and spicy chicken sandwich. It was $21.39
Seats at the tables are torn. Poor quality.
Tables have real flowers. Cute.
Bottom line: the site is poorly maintained. Lines are long inside and outside. The same person changing trash bags handed me my tray of food.
Food 4/5 Return value 3/5 Parking 2/5 Value for money 2/5 Service...
