Update: Saturday, July 12, 2025 PM
Usually we have a good experience here. Not so tonight. Our server was overloaded serving a table of 16 so the first part of our meal service was kind of spotty. Not really her fault. A matter of staffing by the restaurant probably. We started with a fried mozzarella appetizer. I specifically asked that it be cooked to order. Although it came out very hot including the plate, it was not cooked to order. It was heated up to order probably under the broiler since everything was hot including the plate‼️ We ordered our meals. Opted for the chicken gnocchi soup. It took forever to get our soup. Something about the kitchen had to make a new batch. Poor management. On a Saturday night and we have to wait for them to make a new batch of soup?? The breadsticks… half were fresh and half were not! My son and I both ordered the cheese raviolis with Alfredo sauce. Even though that we paid $2.50 each for extra sauce it was very sparse leaving the raviolis on the dry side. We had to ask for more Alfredo sauce to pour on top. They must have new cooks because we’ve never had that problem before. Service was better towards the end of our meal after our server was finished serving that large party. A manager in a white shirt was wandering around the restaurant but he never came down our aisle. He probably would’ve heard all of the above if he did! It was my son’s birthday. We celebrated with complementary cheesecake and the crew singing happy birthday. Thank you OG for that! I am pretty disappointed and surprised that Olive Garden failed us this time. ————————— UPDATE: Wednesday, March 26, 2025 PM Five stars all the way around! This is a mid-priced restaurant chain. But we’ve always had good luck. Tonight was no different. DEBBIE was our server. We’ve had her two or three times before. Excellent‼️ The food was good and in the service, perfect. We were visited by the main manager… I didn’t get his name and by Diana, the assistant manager. They were both very concerned about how we liked our meal. It’s quite obvious they care a lot about their restaurant. OG does an excellent job of takeout also. Thanks, DEBBIE for making this a perfect evening UPDATE: Thursday, September 28, 2023 PM I probably would not submit an update since our dinner was definitely five stars again. But I had to since our server, Debbie, hit it out of the ballpark and turned that five stars into 10 stars. Kudos to Debbie! I had the all you can eat spaghetti with meat sauce and a side of salmon. My son had the cheese raviolis with Alfredo sauce.
—————————- Update: Friday, September 1, 2023 Dinner Excellent all the way around tonight. A big part of that would be our server Georgie! He did an excellent job of refilling our soups and beverages and stopped by to check in on us a few times. Kudos, Georgie! Give him a raise! The manager even stop by at our table to talk to us. Very personable guy. He’s doing a good job. We usually have a good experience here. Tonight, the food was very good. I ordered the herb-grilled salmon with angel hair pasta with butter sauce. Excellent. My son ordered the cheese raviolis with Alfredo sauce. He was very happy with his dinner. They also offered the take home an entrée for six dollars. I chose spaghetti with meat sauce. Haven’t tasted it yet but I’m looking forward to it. We...
Read moreI cannot believe the absolute lack of care from the employees during this last time I visited with my hubby and I... I'm not one of the Karen's out there so I'm not going to be confrontational... But not only did my waitress tell me she didn't even want to come into work today, I had to keep asking her to refill my bread sticks after the only meal I got was the bottomless breadstick soup and salad lunch.... I asked her at least four times to please bring me breadsticks because EVERY time she brought out the breadsticks there was only two bread sticks there... And keep in mind I'm having lunch with my hubby so we only get one bread stick or what? I guess I just have to keep asking when the bread sticks were the main part of the lunch that we're having that was supposed to be bottomless... I know what it's like to be a server myself, so when somebody asks for something you make sure to bring it to them and especially if it's the main course of their meal... There's two people at my table...why would you only bring two breadsticks at a time? ... Wouldn't you want to save yourself time and effort by making sure the breadstick basket is full... especially if the customer keeps asking?...Okay...I get some people do things differently but it already rang it off wrong that she straight up said she didn't wanna be there...Whatever... But then to top it all off, her general manager was making rounds introducing himself to all of the tables and walked right past ours, right after he introduced himself to all of the other tables before us. The way that I was sitting, I was facing him while he was walking towards me, we made eye contact, I nodded at him and he just walked right past me like we weren't even there...idk call me crazy but when you make eye contact with someone in that situation and they've already asked everyone else how their service was and their food..thats rude to me...my feelings were kinda hurt LMAO. My hubby laughed at me, but it compelled me enough to say something and waste 5 minutes of my life typing...
Read moreI am very disappointed to have to leave this review. My daughter and I love to go to Olive Garden and most of the time we have a nice experience. I am pretty sure we were pre judged when we arrived as being a couple of "Karens", but we never had the chance to prove otherwise, even when we tried to engage our server the few times we saw him. We were seated at the smallest table in the place, which would have been fine if the rest of the visit had been good. A table of 5 was seated right next to us after we had been there for about 10 mins. That table had beverages before we were ever greeted. My daughter ordered a drink, which wasn't full, and was very weak. The entrée was served after just a couple of sips of soup. I had ordered the soup, salad and bread sticks, but wasn't able to eat the salad due to some dental work. The server said he would box it up for me to take home. We also ordered a pint of soup to go. At the end of the meal, we waited for quite a while for the to go order. When it finally came, there was no salad, and no little bag for the remaining bread sticks. We tried to pay the check with the ziosk at the table, but it didn't work. So we tried to call the server, but no one came. We took the check to the front counter but couldn't pay there. They called a server that they thought was ours, but he came up, said "that's not my table" and walked away. Another server came over, and asked to look at the check. He saw who the correct server was and called him over. We were finally able to pay the check and leave. There were other issues, but the review is...
