Went here with my boyfriend yesterday, it was our first time ever trying seafood boil, we were very excited. For starters the location is in a great place in Stockton, there is ample parking. Upon walking in the hostess greeted us, and we only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated which was not long at all. We ended up ordering two unsweetened iced teas, a family style boil, and fried pickles as an appetizer. We had ordered the Dungeness crab legs and ordered two orders of the headless shrimp with a spice level HOT. When our order came in we saw crab legs, shrimp with heads, and sausage. We immediately thought our waitress might have forgot to put the headless option, and thought “maybe the sausage was included in it as well”. The flavor was great, can’t complain about the food, we noticed it wasn’t as hot as we expected, that’s when our waitress walked up and let us know she accidentally switched our orders with the table behind us. We thought something was wrong, but honestly we were both hungry and just decided to dig In. Our waitress let us know she adjusted the price considering the mixed up order and even offered us free dessert, we let her know it wasn’t needed but we thanked her for the option. She brought over a receipt and let us know our total for today was going to be $79.55, I handed her my card and then she brought me a receipt for a charge of $104.08. My boyfriend and I instantly looked at each other and realized why is the price so high if she let us know it was going to be $79, when she passed by I asked her for an itemized receipt, when she came back she let me know she got the tabs mixed up and the tab of $104.08 was the table behind us. She let me know a refund was going to be processed. All in all the food was great, the environment was pleasant, but the mixup between my table and the other table was a little inconvenient. Read moreI had the worst experience, first of all we came in at 730pm and ordered our food... We smell a strong odor of Pine-sol cleaner... We asked the waitress if someone was mopping, and she apologized and said that was the bucket of dirty mop water that was putting out the smell. She went and asked if they could move the bucket that was 10 ft from us... I guess the person in charge said no! Well, we tried to eat our food, but the odor was too strong... as we were leaving I ask the young man that was mopping the floor , why are u mopping the floor while all the customers were eating and he replied I have a job to do and it shouldn't bother you it pine-sol an disinfectant... and was like Wow, I went up to the hostess up front and asked the same thing and she replied that the manager wants us out of here at 10 pm... I then replied, it's only 830pm. You can't wait to mop and clean up after all the customers leave.. I then said I'm going to leave a bad review, and she replied I don't care, the I don't give a shit." The next morning I talked to the manager and he said that wasn't right and he was going to have a talk with them. This is what spending $200 dollars get u. I WILL TAKE THIS POST DOWN IF HE REALLY DID TALK TO THE EMPLOYEE'S. My only complaint about the food is that the catfish should be breaded in corn meal type of batter, and the seafood boil didn't have any seasoning in the bag, just butter and oil.. That seafood boil should have lots of seasoning and garlic !!!! It was bland... They give you o e small potatoe and o e small piece of corn.. Now, this is a $88 dollar order for 2. Are we supposed to split the small corn potato and egg. I didn't mention the hot sause did have tops, and it looked old and dried out... look at...
Read more8/25/24- Nisha, Karen, Ariana all exceptional customer service when here again with my other bestie that I hadn't seen in 4years long over due we had the ADIOS, lemon drop drinks. Build your own crab boil raw oysters was gigantic. The calamari needs major work though it was Hella nasty so they took it we didn't finish it so they didn't charge us. How ever I love this place who ever the person is who does all the seafood merchandise ordering keep up the great work and on training your team this place still has it magic touch. Hands down best seafood place in town for the quality of shell fish. Oh and I actually really like how we was in a tucked corner it kept the food hot with less air flow so thay was cool lol I was very happy.
2022- This place was amazing the seafood not rubbery. It was very soft & fluffy. I got the build your own platter. I was very impressed. The waitress kept on checking on us I really appreciated that. They didn't have the crab metal tooth picks how ever she brought us regular tooth picks and that made a difference. I didn't tie my bib on good it fell off and the waitress was nice enough to get me a new one & tie it on for me considering my hands was covered in sauce. They do have plastic gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty but I feel like the best way to eat seafood is to use your hands with no plastic in the way. Trust me you want to wear the bib by the way because of all the butter goodness. It was my first time here and I would definitely recommend this place. Oh and every time I needed the waitress and she wasn't near us when I waved & she came right to us & got what we needed...
