My son likes Chili’s and I usually just go along for the ride. But recently they’ve been hitting a home run . Tonight they were out of mozzarella cheese sticks which was disappointing. But because I had the app we had complementary chips and dip. The chips were OK…the dip is like tomato juice…NOT good! Of course we ordered off of the three for $10.99 menu. I’m sure that’s what 80% of the people were ordering. They were very busy. We had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes. We both ordered the Smashburger. It was very good. Cooked to order. Pink inside. Still juicy. Seem like quality meat. I added an extra patty to my burger $5. The drink comes with the deal. I had iced tea. My son had the raspberry tea. I had the cream of potato soup which was OK. Nothing special. My son had a salad which he enjoyed. I opted for broccoli with a side of mayo instead of french fries. My son had the fries which were OK. Considering how busy they were the service was OK. For all that, our bill was under $30 for two people. Compare that to McDonald’s outrageous prices. No wonder Chili’s was so busy! I’m sure we will return at some! ——————— Update: Wednesday, November 29, 2023 PM We gave Chili’s another chance tonight. We had the mozzarella cheese appetizer and that was good. Could’ve been a little fresher and hotter but it was passable. My son had a double cheeseburger and fries which he was happy with. I had the choose two items which included half a rack of ribs and couple of chicken strips with elote corn on the cob and fries. Everything was hot and fresh including the chicken strips except for the RIBS. The ribs were miserable! Dried out like jerky. They should’ve been thrown out and not served. I would recommend not ordering the ribs here. I know I will never order them again. ————————- Update: Friday, August 4, 2023 PM (dine in)

Not happy with my experience here tonight.

They were slammed. Maybe that was part of the problem. Possibly they pre-cook a lot of the popular food items so it’s ready when somebody orders it. But… I can’t handle that because then it’s soggy and barely warm. Such as several of the items that I ordered were. First was the fried mozzarella cheese appetizer. Last time we were there we really enjoyed it. This time not so much. They were barely warm inside. Certainly not cooked to order! And likewise with the corn on the cob. pretty miserable actually. I ate it but did not enjoy it.

I ordered the chicken sandwich. The french fries were burn your mouth hot which is incredible. The chicken patty was not cooked to order. But my main complaint was the quarter inch of heavy clumpy crunchy batter. I took a couple bites and then peeled the batter off, it was so miserable. I posted pictures of the before and after of the chicken patty.

My son ordered a hamburger what he said was good. I had the hamburger last time and I enjoyed it. But they were not as busy back then.

So maybe the moral is don’t eat here when it’s really busy! 😳

Our server was excellent… pleasant, patient and on top of the drink refills. We had a good experience tonight at Chili’s. Lea was our server.

Chili’s is a step up from Applebee’s.

I ordered a basic hamburger with two patties, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. I asked for it to be cooked medium. It was not medium but it was still OK. Seems like quality meat. I was happy with it and I would order it again. Instead of fries I had the Mexican style corn on the cob. That was very tasty.

My son ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and he was happy with that.

If you check in the app every 45 days and make a minimum of five dollar purchase, you get complementary chips and salsa! Hopefully we will be able to do that next time.

August2025: THINGS FIRST.......Diana has wonderful customer service 💯 🌟 's . I hope the store manager see's this. She went above and beyond meeting every single needs we ask about. also while multitasking with other customers. Checking on other customers continuously as well as checking on me and my aunt continuously she made strong personal connections with all her customers. Diana greeted us with a happy smile took us to a booth and proceeded to help me order lol because it was my very first time to Chillies. I feel silly saying this but yup been living in stockton for 34years & first time here 😌. My parents go here alot and say the food is wonderful. I will be coming back, when I don't know but will be back. We did the 3 item lunch specials. I got the classic Margarita on the rocks, man that bartender really knows how to make a drink 🍸 😉. The chicken enchilada soup was so CHEESY 🧀. I got the smash burger but I don't like thousands Island dressing so I had it with Chipotle sauce. The FRIES are HELLA good & I'm picky on my fries I will waist money unfortunately if a places fries are bad but Chillies your fries are DA BOMB DIGITY 😆 LOL. I'm being silly and serious with this review because I had fun Diana made my first time very special and she didn't know it was my first time till the end when I told her. So thanks for haveing marvelous customer service Diana🥰🫡👏🏼.

10/23: Walked right in my aunt instantly remembered the Alex that was up front asked he can wait on us because she just had him yesterday with her sister on 10/22 ....Later resaw Daina, also met Bricen he kindly checked on us. The store manager Nick we met has a warm happy vibe he give with his store you can tell he puts pride in his Chillies. Alex did above and beyond his customer service was excellent I like how he went over that there is a buffalo ranch for sauce options for my smash burger. I appreciate being constantly checked on while Alex still was making his other customers happy. The half tea half strawberry drink i got was yummy he fixed me one to go very nice. I am leaving Alex a review on here because we ran out of time to leave the review on the in restaurant one so he gets his positive feedback. So now my aunt has her set favorites lol Daina, Alex, Gabby. I didn't get to meet Gabby but my aunt was going on and on about a Gabby also with excellent customer service as well. You know its a well oiled machine when multiple multiple staff bring you back...

Too bad there is no rating below one star because that is the one I would give it. I came in about 3:00 on a Thursday and there was hardly anyone in the place. I sat down and asked the server for an iced coffee She said that they did not serve that so I ordered a hot coffee and a glass full of ice. It took about 6 minutes to get it and I poured the coffee on the ice. Too technical for a server to figure out I guess. When my wife came in, I asked about any happy hour specials and was promptly told we would only be able to get that if I was in the bar. I had made the mistake of sitting in a booth just outside of the bar. Therefore I could not get any happy hour specials for that reason. I had to get up and get menus when my wife came in and we still had to wait 15 minutes to get any water or have our order taken. They offer burgers that are supposed to have 8 ounces of meat but when they arrived the Patty's were about the size of a Big Mac. She also didn't ask how we wanted them done either. My friend ordered a margarita and instead of coming in an appropriate class, it came in a water glass. The fries were very good though even if there weren't many of them I had to ask for silver ware so I could eat and a glass of water again. When I asked for a refill on my iced coffee the server brought me a glass that she had poured hot coffee over ice and it had melted all the ice and I got watered down coffee. After we paid the bill I went to the restroom and there was water all over the place on the floor. Even though the food was good the price doesn't warrent what we were charged. I understand now why there were so few customers in the place. Until they get their act together I would never go back and would be utterly ashamed to let anyone know that I had been there. They do have a decent menu but there are too many restrictions such as not being able to get happy hour specials outside of the bar and not being able to to accommodate customer's beevage requests and having a wet bathroom floor. The lighting was dark and we had to find a table where we could read the menu. This was the second time I ate there: my first and my last.
