I don't post reviews often but at the other Eddie's on Waterloo, I had a bad experience with rude customer service so I decided to switch to the Hammer Lane location. They have a new team of employees and they are all so sweet and helpful and cheerful. When you walk in they greet you, they smile, they're friendly and they are fast. I've been there 3 times in the last two weeks. The pizza was incredible. Cooked to perfection. Kudos to their chefs and kitchen team. The food was served hot and it was prompt. They brought it out to us and were making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was well lit and had a nice atmosphere. Afterward, the young girl came by to see if they could clean up the table and they gave us a to-go box. Then another employee walked around, cleaning up the other tables and came over and asked if we needed anything. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. I'll gladly come back to this restaurant for our late night pizza cravings. This location is top tier and the new employees are excellent and friendly. The other employee staff are great too. I see different people when I go in at different times of the day. Before we left one girl came over and gave me a water cup to go, and I asked her if she was new and she said yes she was. She also told us how much she enjoyed working there and how much she liked her team. It's refreshing to see employees so caring and diligent in regards to their work. I'll definitely be back, and it's extra cool that this restaurant treats their employees well, especially with all the bad stories you hear about other restaurant chains and their issues with how they treat their employees. I decided one night to take my family to Eddie. I called first as a courtesy because there's 8 of us. They told me it's ok. As soon as we got there 15 minutes before 7. The staff told me. Oh, our dining area is closed. I asked why? I just spoke to them. They told me who ever answered the phone told me false information because she didn't know. Ok, fine. We understood. One of us drove the kids home while I waited. 40 minutes later. 10 minutes before 8pm a group of 5 men came in and ordered then went in to eat in the dining area. They didn't say anything to them. I went to pickup my order and ask to speak to the manager. They wouldn't send him. Told me he was busy. I spoke to the staff. She lied Told us the dining was closed because we had a big ordered Wouldn't let us eat there but, the dinner was still open. Would no send the manager because he is too busy to talk to the customer. Disappointed my children when they were excited to go out and eat. Never apologized but, keep telling me they called and ordered before me which is false. I was there an hour before.

As heās walking , heās sweating profusely and he has a balled up napkin that he is using to wipe the sweat off. Iām watching him rub his face , wiping the sweat, heās even using the napkin to dry the sweat in his hair . Mind you , heās in the kitchen , Iām already grossed out that heās doing this but I was thinking maybe heās on break and heās just walking through . NOPE! He proceeds to go to the oven get a pizza out, start slicing the pizza and then grabs the little white table and places it on the pizza . I immediately told the cashier and she said something to him (Iām not sure what) but he Was upset about it. He went and sat in the lobby , NEVER went to wash his hands.
