I've been to Firehouse about a half-dozen times in a year. I've always found the service to be ok. No complaints there. The restraunt is clean and the very first experience was exceptional, the sandwiches were tasty yet a bit pricey so when going there it's always a treat. Lately when I go I always order extra meat because there is far more bread than meat. The last time I went however was a bad experience and I will never patron thier establishment again. I went to pay for my meal the lady over the counter said thats okay you're good. I thought WOW! Great maybe they had a promotional give away or maybe my card was charged already. I was happy. Only one hour after eating my sandwich and telling my coworkers that (by the way told me they have had bad service going though the drive through because the ladies are rude) I wasn't charged for my meal, later, I was called by the manager of Firehouse subs and told it was in error that my meal was free and I had the option of going back to pay for my meal or they could come pick up my order. Dismayed. I told them it's nor my faulr that your trainee gave away free food and I didn't appreciate them calling me back to correct her mistake. What make you think you deserve a free meal? is what this prick asked me. I asked for his corporate no. which he lied saying he didn't have it. I wouldn't recommend this place. It's overtly priced for the portion of food. And after how I was treated. I'll go to Subway Togos or make my own sanwich. If anyone can recommend a good sandwich deli let...
ย ย ย Read moreThe first time I went to this restaurant, I was astounded at the amount being charged for the small portion being received. I ordered my self a smoked turkey on wheat and when I got home to eat about 5 minutes later, the meat was still piping hot and my sandwich was very soggy and falling apart. Today I went back to order one of their chopped salads with grilled chicken. I received a very poorly made salad with no green lettuce to be spoken of, olive juice pooled in the bottom of the bowl, and a very small amount of chicken on the top.
In addition to the poor food quality I have received, their restaurant is very loud and most of the noise comes from the staff working in the back and behind the counter. The customer noise level is low considering their dining area is almost vacant from lack of people staying to eat.
My experience with this particular franchise of this food chain has made me very apprehensive to do business with this company again. Although the food and atmosphere of the restaurant are less than stellar, the cashiers know how to do their job well and thoroughly, hence earning a whole 2 stars...
ย ย ย Read moreThere is a sandwich i really like from firehouse subs but i edit it a little; reg mustard instead of dijon, no onion, no tomato. It just doesn't seem that hard to me, however they messed it up a few times. Finally the last time i went (before they closed) i did return with the sandwich & explain to them that this happens often & i just fix it myself, could they fix it this time, just make it how i ordered it please. They did. It is frustrating because i do order through drive thru and discover the mistakes once im home. I went back for the first time yesterday (since they reopened) and not only did they NOT make it like i ordered but when i opened the sandwich to take the tomatoes & onions off & add the mustard I noticed the slices of ham were cut straight across on one end, the other end was "ripped", just wondering (hoping) thats normal procedure. Also the turkey was not slices it was shreds and little pieces. Is that how its suppose to be? I probably wont be returning anytime soon. When or if i do i will go inside and watch them make my sandwich. (Neither of us got our...
