I give this place rating of 4 Stars. One good thing about this place unlike a majority of restaurants, the Drive Thru is opened 24 hours. One draw back is the use of their Card Point of Sale charge of 50 Cents per use. So be aware.
In the early morning, the drive-thru crew were prompt and ready once I reached the Order Confirmation Board. Their menu board was vast and they allow you plenty of time to read through their selections. Anyway, I selected to try the Chorizo, Egg, Potato and Cheese Breafast Burrito. They packed it up in the bag with Sauce (Green and Red) condiment and plenty of napkins. The Green Sauce had that spicy kick but not too hot. While the Red sauce had a strange smell and didn't taste anything like the traditional Red Sauces, so I didn't use it.
The food review.... i unofficially give the good a 5 Stars because of the ample amount of ingredients where in the Burrito. It was delicious with that Green Sauce. The Chorizo provided that traditional spice. The potato were French Fries instead of cubed. This didn't matter either way. The cheese finally came in to effect about 4 bites into it. All those flavors are a great combo.
I had to give 4 Stars though because, they would not honor Military or Veterans with a discount. I have experienced places of business where even when they didn't have discounts for Military and Veterans, would offer some kind of discount whether it is a Senior or a coupon discount. I can appreciate that ans then I would give that extra star for doing so. EL Forastero offers a very good...

Finally, a spot that understands breakfast isn't just about pancakes and waffles! The chorizo and eggs here are a morning game-changer. The chorizo is perfectly seasoned—not too spicy but packed with flavor—and they don't skimp on portions. When mixed with the fluffy scrambled eggs, it creates this beautiful, savory dance that'll make you forget all about basic breakfast platters.
Let's talk about their coffee because it deserves its own paragraph. Forget McDonald's—this is the real deal. They serve it piping hot and fresh-brewed throughout the day. None of that burnt taste you get from chain restaurants. It's rich, aromatic, and actually tastes like, you know, coffee. Perfect companion to their breakfast dishes.
The service is quick and friendly, and the prices won't make your wallet cry. Whether you're nursing a hangover or just craving some authentic Mexican breakfast, El Forastero hits the spot. Pro tip: ask for extra tortillas—you'll want them to scoop up every last bit of those chorizo and eggs.
A hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Your taste buds (and your coffee cravings) will thank you. The Cleaning Crew from San Pedro California appreciates Claudia’s great...
Read moreHands down the worst experience I’ve ever had. I simply ordered an Asada burrito just as it comes advertised on their menu(guacamole and pico de gallo). The woman at the drive thru offered to make it a “super” which entails cheese and sour cream. I refused and she continued to confirm what I wanted in it. This is where the confusion happened. She asked if I wanted guacamole and I said yes. She mistook that as I wanted extra when I just told her I wanted it regular how it comes. So I get to the window after a long wait and they are busy so I can understand a bit. And she give me a price higher than advertised. Long story short I correct her on what I wanted and she grudgingly makes the adjustments. I received meat wrapped in a tortilla and nothing else. I also was given some sauces I didn’t ask for, but frustrated I went to ask for a refund because it was not what I ordered. Upon returning my money after trying to short me $.50 she tells me with malice “someone is going to give you are hard time tomorrow, watch.” I told her to have a good evening and I left. I can’t believe they call that...
