A beautiful and flavorful experience having to dine in!
I've came across Prosperity Szechuan Cuisine by Ubereats, it did not bold too well for me. Finding that the entrees and appetizers were the same ole fashion Chinese food. Then came across the hotpot banner in front of their door, I had to try it out one of these day.
Met with a kind and gentle server with quick precision and wonderful customer service. I did not believe that one person could handle the floor when there was a mild busy night.
The hotpot is to go for even if it may be a tad expensive. Having a group of 3-4 really helps with the price. We gotten the Szechuan hot pot (mild for my taste) but do beware it is spicy. The aroma, flavor and taste of the broth is to die for! There is the option of "best of both world" half Szechuan, half very down to earth mild and gentle broth.
Each item, and the broth will be charged according to the price. Veggies are less costly $5-10, meats are about $10-16 each.
There are a lot of options and a good proportions of side to include in the hotpot. Kobe briskets, regular briskets, fish, shrimp etc. Alot of veggies as well, in house dumplings, sauces, etc. The must try would be the quail eggs, Kobe beef and the angus beef in the hotpot. Topped off the the sesame garlic oil either dipped or mixed in the szechuan broth... With rice of course!
Everything came out very fast, and gone in an instant. I would come here again just for the hotpot.
Tip: if your burner runs out of fuel just ask for more.
Thank you for the...
Read moreMe,my wife and 2 kids went there after shopping at Walmart for almost 2 hrs to get toys and.other stuffs, we stopped by there to get take out because my brother recommended this place. First of all there's only 2 tables that had people dine in and the rest of the tables are empty. My son wants to play with his car so my wife took him to sit down at one of the empty table. The lady didn't even greet me. I asked her if there's to go menu that I liked to order, she replied that there's no to go many and only dine-in manu (plastic manu are all wore out and paper manu are all marked). Then she said, "Are they together with you." I said, "Yes." Then she said, "You can't sit there if you order to go." I am like "What?". There's no seat for to go order people to wait (You don't allow to go order Customer to wait inside the restaurant?). Anyhow, I called my wife and my son to stand near me. After I did placed an order she told me "It will take 25mins. You wait outside and come back." I am like "What kind of service is this? Very rude and unprofessional. " So I went back after 25mins to pick up my order and it's not ready yet. She said another 5mins. So here's my thought, the place wasn't that busy, and can't finish the time that you said it will be done? Oh and also I did asked her to make less salty when I place the order and my dad told me after he ate some that all dishes are very salty. So I wouldn't recommend this place and I will not going back to this rude business...
Read moreI was greeted by a very friendly seating assistant who immediately took my order. She made some recommendations and I decided on the chicken friend rice and honey walnut shrimp. This was my first time in, so I wanted to start off slow. My food was ready pretty quickly and in a nice red reusable “Prosperity” bag. Nice touch, nice bag.
The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and decor. Very clean. You can tell the owner takes pride in her restaurant. The restaurant just recently earned a prestigious award for best Asian food in Stockton. After trying the food, I agree.
The fried rice to me was perfectly made. The honey walnut shrimp didn’t have tons of mayo, the shrimp were huge, and there was enough for 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are.
I’ll be going back, definitely worth the...
