El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Stockton

RUDE STAFFS. So, today 5/5/2023 Friday, we just dined-in at 4:15pm about a few hours ago. After we finished eating, we went to the front counter and asked for a “TO-GO BOX” “ 2 Rice Lids” & a “Plastic Bag” for our left overs. There are 2 ladies at the counter who are busy talking about some personal stuffs, they appeared or pretended not to understand what we’re asking for!!!!!! BOTH of the CREATURES ARE RUDE and had a BLANK STARE BECAUSE WE SEEMED TO INTERRUPT THEIR PERSONAL CONVERSATIONS!!!!!!!! I ASKED THEM REPEATEDLY THAT THEY DINT HAVE “TO-GO BOXES” FOR FOOD??????? I WAS LITERALLY POINTING AT THOSE TO GO BOXES!!!!!! AND THEY KEPT SAYING “NO, WE DON’T HAVE THAT”!!!!!!!!! But the other SARCASTIC GUY stepped up and gave me the BOX FOR OUR LEFT OVER FOOD. THOSE TWO CREATURES GAVE US A HARD TIME THAT WE HAD TO COME BACK AT THE FRONT COUNTER TWICE AND ASK FOR “TO-GO BOX” “ 2 Rice Lids” & a “Plastic Bag” for our left overs!!!!!!!! THOSE CREATURES UNDERSTAND ENGLISH CAUSE THEY CLEARLY RESPONDED IN AMERICAN ACCENT BUT JUST CARELESS AND WANTED TO GO ABOUT AND CONTINUE THEIR PERSONAL CONVERSATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE FROM THE BAY AREA, WE TRAVEL AND DROVE FAR ONCE A MONTH TO CHECK UP ON OUR RENTAL PROPERTY IN STOCKTON. WE JUST WANT TO EAT IN PEACE. OUR FAMILY DON’T BOTHER NOBODY. BUT I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THOSE LAZY CREATURES!!!!!!!! IF THERES A BELOW ZERO -0 FOR THE RATING, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THAT!!!!!!!!! I literally go to this locations once a year. My experience last year was better. This year I ordered from their $5 meal deal promo menu & got the classic chicken burrito. I expected grilled chicken but got 3 bites of shredded chicken in red sauce. The rest was rice & beans. I was disappointed, was their lunch rush & didn't want to be a bother so I didn't tell any employee. The people who accompanied me ordered chicken nachos & their nachos were evenly loaded with grilled chicken & other ingredients. Next time I won't get the burrito. The teas were very flavorful. The establishment looked clean & salsa station well stocked. The cashier was fast & professional & I seen an employee refill 3 salsas midway...

The last time I went service was horrible, at this location the staff is never friendly and has an attitude, I got some tacos and a burrito, but the shrimp on the tacos was like rock hard chunks of salt, and the tortillas were not cooked and the tacos were cold, I ordered the large chips and salsa and they gave me the small so I had to go back in, and this was over 30.00 what a rip off and so nasty and the pico de Gallo seemed old, it was just gross, the tomatoes were all shriveled up in it and it seemed slimey.
