New Shanghai Restaurant — Restaurant in Stockton

I've almost only ordered delivery from this place...the owner himself has delivered it to my house...these last couple of time hes asked to see my ID and will stare at it and mumble something under his breathe. I gave this place one last shot and came in to pick up...this time the lady (owner) says my card doesn't match my ID "after I said excuse me?!" She says oh never mind I see it, what kind of card is this I've never seen it before? "You've never seen a Mastercard before???" Needless to say I'm done with this restaurant, food is supposed to make you happy, if I have to feel like a criminal then I'll just take my sorry Mastercard to McDonalds. #endrant (side note if you don't mind all of the above I recommend the family style tofu, crab puffs, & egg fried rice the hot and sour is...

Fresh vegetables! We enjoyed the fresh green beans - salted garlic stir-fried were so tasty. The MuShu pork pancakes with their special sauce were delicious-the part I enjoy the most is that the waitress prepared them at the table. My lunch partner enjoyed one of the special dishes of the day- spare ribs in black bean sauce over rice. The soup and salad were well prepared as well. If you like tofu in egg drop soup with fresh peas, this is for you- with a very delicate flavor. And the salad was so refreshing as it has been so hot out lately. Black tea and a fortune cookie topped off this delicious lunch.

The owners offer “DoorDash” for delivery. But pick up is available. In my opinion, you will be very happy here. Great...

Orange chicken had delicious sauce, crispy batter, tender chicken -- very good, good good! Yangchao fried rice was likewise delicious, not overly seasoned; tender shrimp. Wonton soup had delicate flavor Sweet and sour pork with tasty sauce and crispy batter, but some of the port chunks seemed a bit overly fried -- still delicious Sweet and sour chicken had tender chicken, crispy batter and tender chicken chunks -- really tasty. Combination chowmein was also very good -- tender shrimp, beef and pork, all seasoned just right Service was excellent. (We were given sweet and sour chicken instead of the orange chicken we ordered.
