Taste of India — Restaurant in Stockton

Went here for the first time. I was so excited after reading reviews, but. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, and got Chicken Curry. I got home and called the restaurant and was willing to even go back because I didn't receive what I wanted. However, they told me that this is how they make it. I don't believe this to be true. I've eaten Chicken Tikka Masala at numerous Indian restaurants in several different states and being an Indian restaurant owner myself, what I recieved did not even resemble Chicken Tikka Masala. The flavors were that of curry, not tikka masala. When I asked about the cream, of which there was absolutely zero, they said, we only put a little. They made me feel like they thought I was stupid. All they had to do was be honest or change their menu so they are not offering false dishes. They didn't even offer to replace the dish or say sorry. I see alot of people complaining about the Pil in the butter chicken. I myself grew up eating foods from different cultures, Each Indian restaurant I have tried all do their own twist to food. I really enjoy the butter chicken here. I always order it. The portions are generous. They do have to work "freshing" up the place and hopefully adding more of a warmer feel to the place, it has potential. The staff are always very good to us. Don't look like much from the outside, but it's very decent good. I've been to fancy Indian restaurants woth terrible food. So u can't judge the outside...

Incredible Indian Food Experience!

I recently had the pleasure of trying Amritsari Kulcha at this amazing spot, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with spices that took me straight to the streets of India. The owners are kind and humble, and you can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of food they serve. It felt like we were on a little food tour through the streets of India, and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian...
