The restaurant is located in River front, gorgeous view and atmosphere to dine around summer evening time. Usually it’s really packed around dinner time. But the disappointment is the restaurant lacks in drinks and food quality. The strawberry jalapeño margarita barely had any taste of strawberry, it tasted jalapeño with alcohol. For the Mojito, the mint wasn’t crushed, rather just dumped into the drink. For the tacos, shrimp taco was the best. It had some good seasoning. Baja taco was average, it could use some seasoning. I was really saddened by the chicken taco. The chicken had no seasoning, seemed like it was boiled in water and thrown on top of the tacos. The chicken pieces were chunky, instead of shredded or cut into smaller cubes. Even though the ambience, view and service were great, unfortunately the taste and quality of drinks and food would need massive uplifting for us to go back to this place. Food taste - 2/5 Food prep time - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Price - $$$ Items tasted: Shrimp tacos - 5/5 Baja fish taco - 3/5 Chicken taco - 1/5 Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita - 1/5 Mojito - 2/5

If it wasn't for the server being nice, I would have given this place a zero. Inflation or no inflation, the prices were so outrageous for what we received, the Reeds should be ashamed... this dish was shrimp burrito bowl cost $21-7 small shrimp, 1/2 cup of beans and white rice, 1/4c of shredded lettuce, alittle bit of tomato, diced onion and some sauce... chicken chipotle burrito had zero taste. Chips and salsa for $9 came with 1/2 c up of tomato salsa. And some chips... This will be the last time we visit. In response to the "owners" response: Your reply is actually funny and appalling at the same time and sounds like the teenage bus boy wrote it... local does not mean higher prices nor tasteless produce, just chalk it up as a bad night, hell, in the middle of dinner service, you ran out of bowls and had to use take out bowls... and if you would of read some of the other comments, you will find that this wasn't an isolated incident.

The view is the best part of this restaurant. Food is extremely underseasoned and basic. Not true authentic Mexican, but for shoobies I guess they accept it. Mahi tacos were bland, slapped together on a slow day, had to add limes and salt myself even with the sauces they threw on. Friends shrimp tacos came with picked onions but mine didnt, I had to ask for some. Minimal cilantro. Margaret the waitress was nice but didnt smile once. This was Monday afternoon, servers were standing around the kitchen window and no one even bothered to acknowledge we exhisted. Everyone looked miserable. Asked a young girl if we could sit outside she said go ahead, then no one came with menus, we had to get up and get them ourselves. Would never return even if the meal was free, thats how bad.

My family & I went for dinner to BMB&C restaurant. We have chosen to go to that restaurant because the type of food - tacos, burritos, nachos & drinks. What can go wrong? Well, there were 4 ladies working 2 of them were cooking & the other 2 were waiting tables. The time passed by & the place started getting busier. All the sudden the people that entered last started getting their appetizers & food. Well, we got mad cuz we were waiting for more than 50 minutes. The waitresses were passing by our table. Hver, they didn't care to check on us or our orders in the kitchen. The waitress ignored us un purpose. I say this cuz when we decided to leave NOBODY apologized & they gave us an attitude that they didn't care at all. My husband went with my mother in law to pay for the single beer that was ordered when he noticed a cook from the kitchen collecting food to be delivered. He said to the guy, If that is for our table you can cancel it. We are leaving. We've been here for 50 minutes and we didnt get any food. Furthermore your bringing our apps out with our entrees. This was a bad experience. The cook and wait staff who overheard said"hum." My husband said you guys served food to other tables that got here after us and brought another table but did nothing for us. They responded by staying "huh". We waited 35 minutes for 2 iced tea, one draft beer, and a water. The water had a fly in it. The food looked disgusting. The cheese for the chips and cheese looked like heated velveta. The tacos looked said and the burrito was the size of a broom handle. I felt discriminated because of my race. I do not recommend going...

I went to buckets with my boyfriend and his cousin and friend just wanting to order a few drink and eat some lunch (we are all over 21). After we ordered a drink our server carded us after taking or ID's she said she needed to scan them. Another girl came back and announced to the whole patio that our ID's were fake but we could still eat there. We were floored because we are all over 21 and we're just utterly confused. When we walked back into the restaurant to talk to the manager we saw our ID's were bent literally in the shape of an L. We were furious because this was now mutilated, unusable damaged property. When we spoke with the "shift manager" she was the most rude, nasty, incompetent individual I had ever dealt with in the restaurant business. She would not even hear us out and threatened to call the cops on us EVEN THOUGH OUR ID's WE'RE REAL PA LICENSES'. So we agreed to call the cops. While waiting the real manager showed up heard the story and proceeded to ask us to leave as to not embarrass them with other customers in the restaurant. When the cops showed up they ran our ID's through the their system proving they were real. Even after this proof the staff and managers were insensitive and gave an insincere, half-assed apology. I work in the restaurant business and I have never in my life heard of a situation like this in my life. The most infuriating part of this story is how terribly we were treated during this whole situation. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never ever return to this hole in...

My family and I arrived thinking it would be as good as last year since we had an awesome experience. We started off with drinks. My 3 other family members all got classic margaritas while I got the strawberry jalapeño margarita. I got it last year and absolutely loved it. However, this time around was a different story. I was greeted with a strong jalapeño tequila taste with minimal strawberry flavoring. It was like drinking straight out of a jalapeño! Nasty! My family gave me the same type of opinions when I asked how their drinks were.

We moved onto appetizers. We ordered chips and salsa (which were good), nachos with chicken (tremendously watery), and the worst of them all...the Mexican street corn. I found this to be the worst because of the absurd amount of salt on the corn. It was like biting into a corn-flavored salt stick!

Finally we moved onto dinner. I got the burrito which was good however my mom ordered the American tacos (which were so salty she could not finish) and my girlfriend ordered the tortilla salad (also she could not finish because it was too salty).

In conclusion,

I do not know what happened to buckets from a year ago to today. It was so good last year and I don't know if they changed management or not but they should add "Salt" to their name on the restaurant sign because that is all we tasted while we were there.

Thanks Salt Buckets! Hopefully things change...
