Seven Mile Pies — Restaurant in Stone Harbor

Saturday night, ordered two large pizzas - one large plain, and one large white. Even though they were busy, it was ready for pickup in 30 minutes. The pizza was advertised as "thin crust", I found it to be normal jersey pizza, not overly thin, folded nice. Sauce slightly sweet, a lot of herbs surfaced in the cheese. Not greasy. Great flavor. Pizza done perfectly, not too dark as to be "well done", but enough dark areas on there that ensured the pizza had a good time in the oven. Crust was chewy, not doughy though. And, even though we ordered take out, the pizza didn't absorb the cardboard flavor of the box. But pizza is always better in store, freshly cooked. Really good pizza! Very happy with the quality of both pies. Price was a little high, but it's a shore town, so it is to be expected. We will absolutely order from 7 mile again,...

I was so excited to try this pizza. I haven't been to SHNJ since this was TJs. So disappointing. :( Friday night. There was a cheese pizza out and a buffalo chicken. Would think there would be more choices. Got the cheese. Looked like it had been sitting out for awhile and tasted like it too. It had no flavor. Spiced it up with the garlic powder, crushed red pepper, Italian seasoning and parmesan...still not awesome. My kids wouldn't even eat it and they're not that picky about pizza. Wish we made a different dinner decision. Tried to get a to go box and everyone was too busy, I tried to get a couple employees attention and gave up...so threw the leftover slices (2 out of 3) in the trash....

Took an informal survey on 96th Street about the best pizza on the island this afternoon and this place was the unanimous favorite of people working in the stores.

Ordered two specialty pizzas and a gluten-free pie with peppers and onions. They did not disappoint! The Buffalo Chicken had wonderfully seasoned chicken with a swirl of blue cheese around the pie. The Meat Lovers had perfectly cooked Pepperoni, Sausage and Bacon with crunchy seasoning. The gluten-pizza was some of the best my wife has eaten.

Staff and atmosphere were also great. Brianna (the two-sport standout from Stockton University!) and the owner answered all my questions and made me feel welcome. Thanks guys! We...
