Surfside Rooftop Grill — Restaurant in Stone Harbor

Instead of staying local around LBI, decided to take a drive to Stone Harbor for a little anniversary getaway day. While walking around, we happened to see this unassuming little stairway leading up to this rooftop grill. Not knowing this was a reservation only place, I asked for a high top, as the host tried her hardest, the wait was about an hour, No big deal, I can wait, however, we decided to eat at the raw bar where Jordan made us the best blueberry mojito mocktail. Service was great, Jordan was very friendly, attentive, and just a nice person. We split the chicken flatbread and the "almost world famous cuban", both were excellent. About midway through our stay, host came up offering us a table that became available sooner than expected, we declined as we where perfectly fine right where we where. Will definitely revisit...

This was a very disappointing dining experience - which isn’t something that happens typically in stone harbor.

The calamari appetizer came with a scant amount of calamari.

The crab cake dinner came with “mashed potatoes” which was basically solid major potato chunks. The crab cakes were okay at best according to my 11 year old.

Scallops were enjoyed by my daughter. I ordered the oyster po boy. It had 7 tiny over fried oysters in a giant hoagie.

I do not recommend. Oh, my napkin that my utensils came in had all kinds of crusty crud in it. SO GROSS.

Too many other AMAZING options down the street. Save your $$ and...

We had an excellent time here. The staff was amazing. Our waitress, Alice, was super nice and attentive to all of our needs. Megan was also great as she walked me through the menu to handle my allergy needs because I have Celiac. The food was excellent as well. The swordfish special was delicious and since they have a dedicated gluten free fryer, I was able to enjoy some tasty French fries. The rooftop atmosphere was top notch.
