What a great upgrade to the Stone Harbor restaurant scene! We had driven 17 hours yesterday from Florida and all we wanted was some good home cooked food served quickly. That is exactly what we got here.
My wife ordered the appetizer special (duck confit nachos). I sampled and thought they were just delicious. She then had the Iceberg Wedge salad as her dinner and was very pleased with it-- the portion size was generous.
I had the dinner special which was Chicken Schnitzel. This was served over homemade pappardelle pasta with french style green beans. This dish was executed extremely well-- the chicken was pounded thin and lightly fried and the pasta was light and fresh. The green beans were served to perfection as well. The portion size again was very nice and I was able to take home almost half of the food.
For dessert we split a slice of the chocolate torte cake which was extremely light and was not as heavy as many tortes. The flavor was delectable and was a nice finish to the meal.
Ashley (the owner) stopped by our table to introduce herself and thank us for our patronage which again is a nice touch. Her wait staff is extremely friendly and professional-- we were very happy with the overall experience and will definitely return during the Summer.

Read moreWent in hoping for a home run and felt like a double. There was literally one person acting as receptionist, server, and bus person for entire restaurant. Black nspkins and tablecloths made it feel dark. Despite having a reservation for four, we were seated at a round table for 6, and I personally had to physically move the chairs out of the way to make it a table of four. Appetizers were expensive as we had a edamame dumpling appetizer with four dumplings, which cost $19. Beef spareribs were not very meaty. The one winner the whole night was the chicken dish.iIt was plentiful and yummy. My daughter ordered the duck breast which was basically preparation you would in a Chinese restaurant with pungent hoisin sauce. The scallop dish was solid. My surf and turf was OK with small 4 shrimp tempura and small portion of beef was well prepared and flavorful. Entrees generally ran $40-$50 whereas based on quality should’ve been in the $25-$30 range. I give the server credit because she was the only person working in the entire restaurant dining room. It was an improvement over the last restaurant which lasted I believe less than one year, but still felt very expensive and step below some of better restaurants in the area. Just lacking...
Read moreWe were very interested to try this new addition to Stone Harbor. We weren't Marabella's fans so glad to see something new in this location. We had the edamame dumplings for an app which was good but a bit crunchy on the edges so I'd try another app on next visit. Our waitress gave us a recommendation of the Salmon and Lobster Crab ravioli for entrees. They were both excellent. Nice size portions for both meals and delicious. Finished off with the flourless chocolate cake - very good; the texture is a bit more cake-like rather than fudge-like on a typical flourless chocolate cake. Overall we had a great meal and the service was great. And the owner stopped by to chat and you can tell they really want you to be happy. The staff was very appreciative of our visit which was a nice touch. Prices on par with a BYOB. P.S. We have also had their $5 breakfast deal for a breakfast sandwich and small coffee. Where else can you find that deal? We'll...
