I needed to pick up a fast lunch, and decided I would finally try out Yvette's Cafe! They were pretty busy and the restaurant was packed, but the worker still managed to direct me over to their Take-out window (which is a tiny side room). I got their Roast Beef sandwich. It was okay, but it was not worth $17 dollars. The sandwich looks like (see photo) it's absolutely packed with meat, right? It's not. Underneath that meat is literally a salad's worth of arugula. I knew there was arugula in the sandwich, but I didn't realize there would be so much I would feel like I was eating a grass sandwich for a moment. There were barely any caramelized onions, but the lemon mayo was decent. The roast beef was only okay quality, and I noticed the edge of one of the pieces had that rainbow sheen on it which means it's starting to go bad. The bread was also okay, but it was almost all crust, so it was very crunchy. Again, not worth $17 in the slightest. Maybe they have something else on their menu that's amazing, but it's not the Roast Beef sandwich.

Yvette’s is always my #1 recommendation for anyone visiting Stone Harbor! They have the BEST breakfast and lunch on the island, hands down. For breakfast egg, cheese and pork roll on sourdough is my favorite and if dining in try the croque madame. For lunch our favorite are the wings, French ham sandwich, porketta, tuna melt, grilled shrimp salad and Niçoise salad..but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Organic food, homemade dressings, everything is high quality and made with care! You can tell Chef Tony takes pride in all he does and his team is a reflection of that. Friendly welcoming staff and amazing food every time we visit! We also love to visit Kathleen and Ethan at the coffee bar/market next door. We love their espresso and beignets! Thank you Yvette’s for always taking great care of our family when we dine in, take out and they have catered a few...

We stopped by the small to-go coffee section and really enjoyed the board above the counter that displayed all the different drink makeups (for example, espresso and steamed milk = cappuccino). Earlier in the week, we had asked about one of the drinks, and while the staff member we spoke to wasn’t particularly friendly, we assumed she may have just had a long day.

When we returned to order that drink, we were told it wasn’t available—and it came across as though it was something they never actually offer, despite it being listed on the board. We then tried to order a different drink from the board, but again, they were unable to make it, and it seemed as though that one had never been available either.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The menu board is appealing and informative, but it’s frustrating to see items listed that can’t...

The single best nicoise salad I've ever had! My go 2 salad...I've eaten a plethora...this one spectacular! Perfect classic French vinaigrette, tuna- a big fresh slab...I could go on & on...just get it! Mighty Leaf ginger tea w/ cute tea pot & refill of hot water bc 1 bag will make 2 pots 😉 Excellent service: attentive not overbearing, pleasant & responsive 👍 Tiny place...never felt rushed to turn the table...friend & I catching up...lovely... Took dessert home...stunning choco/pbutter layered fabulousness...Good God! Owner humble when I was effusive 😄

Every year we spend two weeks in Ocean City New Jersey and each time we spin over to Stone Harbor for some shopping and to visit this little gem of a restaurant. Tucked inside a little strip mall, you may have a hard time finding it, but please seek it out. Surprisingly varied menu fir a small cafe. The food and the service are exceptional.
