Went there not too long ago to purchase to deluxe pizzas. The gentleman was the only guy there that evening and he hardly put any cheese on either one of the pizzas! I went back to have them remade but not knowing their policy where they have nothing to show for their policy of returning a piece of that wasn't made correctly... I went back the next day and spoke to the store manager and she told me will our policy is that you're supposed to bring the pizza back the same night that you bought it. But I explained to her you guys were getting ready to close by the time I got back home so it didn't make any sense for me to call and you all were getting ready to close! And then trying to get through the phone line it was busy anyway and she still standing there telling me well you still could have called. She only made one of the pieces because the other one my guests had eaten half of the other pizza and she told me if I still had any issues to contact corporate. Now I looked up corporate and she said it was the Marco's Pizza website I haven't found it yet. She said they don't have a phone number which is crazy! What company does not have a corporate phone number? And as far as corporate goes you all need to put something inside the building and on your website and not have your employees tell customers that, corporate can't put policy information everywhere! That is the most out most ridiculous answer I have ever heard of manager tell me! Because if something goes wrong you all are in serious trouble! You need to make your policy known to the public! So I wasn't able to find the corporate phone number to explain to them the situation that happened because she told me if you're not satisfied reach out to them and see what they can do to reimburse you for the other pizza because we cannot because you didn't bring it back that same night. Even though they were getting ready to close in 10 minutes and it takes me 15-20 minutes to get home! Hello! In conclusion when I went back to have the pizza we made the gentleman who was there the night before that told me over the phone that he works for three jobs including this one, he said he didn't understand what happened. And I explained to him I've never had a deluxe and it hardly had any cheese on it. The sum of my guests ate it because we were working late and yes we were hungry but we still complained about it. You eat when you're hungry right but on the flip side you want it to be good. I can go anywhere else and get a better pizza versus in the dekalb area which is sad. But he apologized in the end of me leaving with only one of my pizzas. Oh and let me just say this I couldn't even get a refund even though she offered me a refund! That is so bad words to say to a person! This is why I don't go to this location because it's the second time of this happening and I haven't been to this restaurant since April...
Read moreTwo main complaints. First problem: The cashier is extremely rude. I called to place an order on 9/8/2019 around 6:00 pm. A young lady answer the phone she asked would this be pick up or delivery. I said great will if you can delivery out here, here is my address. I gave her my address and the cashier told me OH we dont deliver out there and imedently hung up the phone on me. OKAY well I wasn't finish because I was okay to still order and pick it up instead.
So I then called back and told the same cashier that I called and you hung up on me and I wasn't down with my order. So I then on told her my order which was a XL pizza with chicken, spinach, and feta cheese. When I got there to pick it I notice how this young lady could care less to be there at work and the place was not busy at all in fact I was the only person there. I then asked the cashier can you please give me some parmesan cheese and hot pepper packets to go. She then only gave me three of each packages only for an XL pizza whom I am feeding 3 boys and two adults. I asked can I have a little bit more and of course she had an attitude about that.
So I made my way home after driving 20 min to get there and 20 min to get back. The second problem: I open the pizza box and realized that they completely made the pizza WRONG. It had topping on there that I didn't asked for. I called up to Marco and asked to speak with the manager and if course the young lady did not want me to speak with the manager. After asking for the manager 3 different time a manager finally answer the phone. I explain to her everything what went wrong plus I still offer a tip, and all they can offer me was to go back up there return the pizza for exchange for the correct one. I told her that would be a huge inconvenient because I have 3 young boys who are very hungry and they all ready started to eat the pizza plus I did not want to make the drive back up there.
After all what was said the manager at that time and location could not help me but offer me a coupon that I can come by to pick up to go towards my next visit. HELLO WHY WOULD I EVER COME BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN. That place is pathetic and I will never go on that side of town to order a...
Read moreThe worst Marco’s. Ordered food for delivery at 6:00pm. Didn’t receive an update for an hour. Called in and was told the food was ready and someone should be on the way to get it. Tried to call back 15 minutes later to see if picked up and placed on hold. Drive to the store which is about 10 minutes away and the call disconnected. Food was still sitting there. Requested a refund for delivery fees and tip. Was told only can refund entire order. Requested full refund. I was explaining the issue to Lydia and the manager walked over. The manager Jasmine they don’t normally like to issue refunds for full amount and said maybe they could refund an item. She took a call in the middle of me talking to her and the Nigeria began to help. I asked about just getting a refund for one of the items to equal the delivery charges and she said would take care of it. She offered to refund the order and remake the food. I reiterated I didn’t want to pay and was fine with just the refund. She told me not to worry and she would get it all remade. While waiting, received an email FROM MARCOS at 7:39 that the order was on the way. The dasher walked in about 10 minutes later to pick up my food and Nigeria told him it could be cancelled. I finally got my food and then when I inquired about the refund Nigeria called a different manager to walk her through it but the manager said no. Lydia told me I should come in or call the next day for a refund. The manager jasmine called the GM Christina who said I had to call door dash to get a code to issue a refund. Called door dash and they said they would call Marcos for the refund. Online ordering is a horrible experience with each party blaming the other. Marcos should be responsible for delivery charges since the order was still placed through Marcos not door dash....
