I went there for the FIRST time yesterday July 20th with a group of five. We were seated relatively fast which was very nice, and the tables were arranged for us so we could sit together. As we were ordering we were all cordial and making it very easy to not ask for substitutions, not changing our minds etc... However when the time was for the check to come we asked politely if he could just split the bill for us. Heck I just got an appetizer. The waiter started getting upset and telling us " I told you before I cannot split the bill 5 times!!" He didn't even come to our table 5 times. Once to order, second to serve, third for the check. We all felt very distraught by the waiters attitude, and he gave us the check for US to split as according to him it was our job to make it easier for him. As a former waitress I understand maybe if splitting the bill so many times might be "annoying" but it is part of the job. I've done it, everyone should be treated with care. After we were done calculating our own bill we got up and left. I noticed 5 minutes later that I forgot my keys so not even the parking lot I remembered and went back to retrieve them. However to my coincidental dismay my keys were no longer there on my chair where I know I left them, the tables already rearranged; when I asked the waiter if he saw them he was not able to look at me in the eyes and give me a straight answer. I went and looked at the three places I was the car and the restaurant as well as the lot if i had dropped them. No where to be found. My suspicion is this restaurant. If you look at a couple reviews down someone will have the same kind of review of their wallet disappearing. Where are the surveillance cameras, I am glad I created a police report on this matter? I am highly disappointed with their service, the ill compassionate staff and the way my friends and I personally felt during my time there. This was the first and...
Read moreLive near by so wanted to check out local Chinese spot. This place is good for drinks in a night atmosphere that aren’t crazy expensive. The vibe was cozy, but still nice. For food we had the crab Rangoon and hot and sour soup to start which we both loved. Really enjoyed the hot and sour soup!
Entree we got basic sesame and general gaus chicken. It was good but note that it doesn’t come with rice. Pretty standard for a Chinese spot, although I’m sure there are places that offer similar quality for cheaper that are take out only.
To drink we got the scorpion bowl to share and it was STRONG.
Overall we enjoyed our experience here and will be back.
Update:
Got take out and ordered the steak teriyaki. It’s a lil $ but comes with rice, soup, and salad. It’s cooked well and the sauce is nice with the rice. Veggies with it are fairly uncooked, but we liked it that way!
For apps we got spring roll and sweet potato tempura. Don’t really recommend they’re too greasy and not enough flavor. The tempura is quite thick, usually it’s supposed to be a light batter. Idk if it was cause we got take out but the spring roll wasn’t crispy. I still enjoy the food but I’m sticking to the tried and true (General Tso’s and...
Read moreFood was good. Server was terrible. Waited 20 minutes for a table for 3, which was ok for a busy Friday night, but once seated, waited 10 minutes for server to come to take our orders. Two members of my party received their entre when I received my appetizers. By the time my entire arrived, they had finished their meal. We had to ask for salt, pepper, and soy sauce for the table, and only had a fork for our food. There was no knife to cut large pieces of chicken. I will never eat-in again. They have faster delivery. The restaurant is small, so when it is crowded during busy times, it is very loud, you cannot hear conversation at your own table. There is also no real wait area for your table, just a narrow area when you come in, so people are crammed in waiting for seating while others are coming in for take out or trying to leave. Again, food is good. I recommend ordering delivery. They are faster...
