So confused how this place has more than 4 stars… Thursday night, 3 adults and 2 kids. Waste of time and money! Go elsewhere… please! Service was horrible and poorly executed. Barely checked on us, never asked if we wanted more drinks, and some of the food ordered was wrong, and not offered to fix, and various servers waiting on us, but to no avail. Before posting this review, I read multi reviews with similar complaints from years ago, with owner responses that said they’d address the issues, but yet 3-4 years later the same issues… wake up owners!!! Food was bland and plated no better than if I made the dinner at home myself. Avoid stuffed mushrooms, Buratta salad, ravioli, Eggplant Rollitini, watery pasta, mashed potatoes, and holiday cranberry margarita. Oh, and the fried food reeked/ tasted of old dirty oil, as did the air as we were leaving. 3 possible scenarios… they currently don’t have a head chef(my guess), the current chef lied on his resume, or the head chef has experience, but isn’t good at their job.
To the owners… your servers should be using trays for drinks if more than two drinks. They carried multiple drinks and looked so sloppy/unsanitary doing it. Also, your servers are not attentive! It’s completely unacceptable to receive the level of service received at you place. Don’t you want better for your customers??? And your food… don’t you want to strive for amazing. Your food is nowhere near amazing… it’s meh! You can do better and be better. You should definitely invest in a hospitality professional/consultant to help elevate your restaurant. As for me, you’re thinking who is this person, and it’s only one opinion compared to the other reviews on here, and it’s true. However, I’ve been in this business for 20+ years and definitely know service, drinks and food, and because of my expertise, I feel compelled to write this review. I don’t write many restaurant reviews, but your restaurant...
Read moreMe again. I decided to come to Nobility Hill Tavern in Stoneham to grab some takeout, a quick drink and watch the game. It was probably my fourth or fifth time here and each time I’ve had such a great experience that I feel obligated to share. Every time I’m greeted by the owner John and I am blown away by the work ethic and hospitality of Nichole, John’s right hand man in my opinion. She wears the hat of bartender, hostess, server, innovator of cocktails…., I gave her carte blanche and creating a drink for me that she loved and it did not disappoint. To find out what it was you’ll just have to come in and ask her. After speaking to John, he was pretty perplexed about a recent review on his Cuban sandwich so I decided to give it a try. I don’t know what credentials that reviewer had but this Cuban sandwich is delicious! And this is coming from a girl who only eats her Cuban sandwiches from Florida. I challenge you to come in, try one and give your own review! I’ll be sharing this on Google, but I just wanted to put it out there because it’s a Sunday afternoon and I’m sitting here watching the game, listening to the game, enjoying the game and I feel like there should be more people sitting at this wonderful bar on a Sunday afternoon . Eating wonderful food like the special lemon garlic chicken which was rated outstanding by the...
Read moreI rarely write negative reviews, and usually just tell my friends and family what I thought about a place if it comes up in passing, but I have to say I was really disappointed here. The customer service was non-existent. Zero. There was no host at the front, which I can understand on slower days to cut cost, maybe they just have the servers sit tables, but after waiting a few minutes, we figured that it might be seat yourself. So we sat down. The server from the beginning gave off the vibe that had one of us fallen to the floor choking, she would have stepped over us if we were in her way. Zero personality, friendliness, desire to interact or connect with us. I even made a little joke that something came out wrong, but it was still really good. She couldn't have cared less. Dropped our check off a few minutes after, and that was that. This was our first time in, and we literally couldn't have felt less welcomed. It's sad because I've grown up in Stoneham, hadn't been there yet, and was hoping that this might be a nice new spot to frequent. I gave it two stars because the food wasn't bad, but for me, a places atmosphere is what makes or breaks it and this place just had a cold, robotic feel to it. Was really...
