Just got done with my dinner from these folks and all I can say is..WOW! Walked in and my order came out nice and hot and on time. Friendly service for starters.
I ordered the rangoons and sweet/sour chicken. My lord it was tasty. I am a cook and really have grown tired of some mediocre establishments in this area So many Asian places round these parts use frozen/premade items and you can always tell. It’s time for a change I say Here it’s all fresh and made from the heart.
Rangoons came with a nice dipping sauce that is miles better than the usual fair. The size is just right. Too many places serve overly greasy ones filled with mostly cream cheese. This has all the goods.
A healthy dose of chicken came w my other order Along with perfectly cooked rice and veggies w the dish. Nice balance of flavors here.
Their crispy chicken is so tender and GODLY. No I’m not kidding.
I’m new to Thai food, so I’ll certainly be trying their traditional dishes in the future. But I also now have my new comfort order. I believe the prices are more fair for take out considering this is all cooked from scratch. The place is small, yet has a wonderful inviting atmosphere. I’ll certainly have a sit down lunch one day.
Will be adding pictures of subsequent orders too!
Until next time. Well done to the chef...
Read moreAmazing food with just the right blend of everything. The pad thai is peanuty, sweet, and just the right level of heat. The tom kha soup is the best I've had in 15 years. If you've never had tom kha soup - it's the perfect elixir for a cold rainy day or the sniffles or bronchitis. You can get it with chicken, or tofu or shrimp. I like mine with extra mushrooms, which they always provide (and the mushrooms are fresh!). The pad see ew is deliciously sticky, sweet and satisfying with very fresh broccoli which appears to be steamed and truly impressive. It's just take-out, which is a-ok - especially because there's always a nice person waiting in the front to greet me and hand me the nicely arranged meals in a fresh and crisp heavy brown paper bag. In short, I love this place. It's my...
Read moreDid take out on a Friday. This is primarily a take out spot although there are a couple of small tables for seating.
We ordered veggie gyoza and tomyum soup for apps, and the red and green curry with beef and chicken respectively.
The gyoza was good, the tomyum soup and red curry were too sweet. Obviously being a Thai restaurant the dishes will have sweetness to them, but compared to the green curry the red curry had a sugary taste. Green curry had a rich, savory feel to it. It tasted really decadent with the eggplant. The red curry kinda seemed slapped together with sugar added on top.
Overall this place is decent for a takeout spot, but there are better Thai options in the area (down the...
