Inside of the place is absolutely disgusting. Man working there (who I presume is the owner) was horribly rude and made me feel instantly uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. I said I wanted to look around (this is during normal business hours— not near closing time or anything like that) and he said “it wasnt a good time” because he was in the middle of buying a collection from someone (he was nasty to that guy too in front of me as well) and told me to leave and “come back in twenty minutes”! Of course I left, but I’ll never go back. Really disappointing too because I wanted to buy something as a gift for someone and the guy working there got all bent out of shape when I said I didn’t have a specific coin in mind to buy (I just wanted to browse and see what looked interesting) and he actually went off on me saying that “you don’t even know what you wanna buy!” To any prospective customers, please take your business elsewhere where it will be appreciated and you’ll be treated with a...
Read moreThe first time I came into this store, the owner accused me of stealing when I was looking at the coins in the bin up in the front. Eventually after some chatting, the matter was cleared up, and after telling him I was interested in gold, he showed me a frank (somewhere around .25oz) and I declined to purchase that day. He said that they always had those pieces on hand. Fast forward a few weeks later I came in again to purchase a similar piece. The owner now told me they never keep gold in the shop and it’s always in the bank. The implication to me, seemed like he didn’t want to say there was any gold in the store, when last time I was in there he showed me some!
Every time I come in this shop I feel like I’m treated like a thief. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s just awkward and uncomfortable. Either respect your customers or don’t let them in in the first place, just...

I had a very general idea of the value of the coins and took them to 3 dealers to see what they would offer. Ultimately I sold the lot to C&J for several reasons. 1. Charles offered the most money for the coins. 2. He was fair and direct. (Ex: there was 1 coin I had done a little research on. He asked me what I thought it was worth. I said $200 - $250. He shook his head (I thought he was going to say much less) and said I'll give you $400. 3. He does business in an old school way and I appreciate that in today's world. I would highly...
