Pizza Mia — Restaurant in Stoneham

I've been wanting to try there food for 3 months seeing it had a higher rating, I was looking foward after reading the great reviews. Sorry to say my choices were somewhat disappointing. Onion rings were great I will give them a A Steak Frys were fairly good I would give them a B or a B+ Spinach roll was ok. I give it a C Chicken parm sub I'm just not sure why I wasn't crazy about it ,not sure if it was pounded to thin and to much breading or what. Maybe I'm use to big chunks of chicken I give it a C- 1st pizza Texas bbq chicken, I ask for spinach added. 1.The dough was mostly hard as a rock except the center was a soak mess When I open the box it looked as though the top shifted and slid off the pizza the box was soaked in grease and piled up off the pizza on the cardboard, I would of expected that maybe on a hamburg pizza there may be grease from hamburg. But not bbq chicken. The slices were just so soaked you couldn't pick up a slice to put on a plate without a mess most slices were soak dough no cheese or topping because it slipped off. I picked up what I could and Slapped back on the pizza. I tried to eat 2 slices but was beyond dissatisfied. This pizza just wasn't for me,I wish i didnt get it , I would never get it again. This will go down as one of the worse pizzas i have ever got. I give it a Hard. F. THE REST GOES IN THE TRASH 2ND PIZZA. I GOT THE MIA SPECIAL I added spinach I will say I was happy to see the toppings were still in place on this pizza. I only had one slice, crust was well done . I will try a few more slices tomorrow that will be the true test. If I were to give it a grade based on the one slice it would be a C or a C- .....

The guy taking the order seemed nice . The delivery guy seemed nice. They may have other things that maybe great. Based on the mess and what I ate I most likely won't go back it just wasn't my type of food. I'm a big follower of phantom gourmet so I will drive 2 hours just to try a great restaurant. Sometimes the places I go are fantastic and some aren't so great. I'm just giving my honest opinion to my experience only. I have found I can go in the same place 2 nights in a row and wonder why one night was so great and the other night wasn't as great. Then I ask and find out it was 2 different cooks each night. First time trying Pizza Mia and we were not disappointed!! Having not been impressed with any local pizza joints we usually make our own pizzas, but you know the story. A bit tired, dont feel like hitting the grocery store and cooking and cleaning. We got 2 Jumbo traditional pizzas and they were fantastic. This is the kind of pizza you'd expect in the Boston area but sadly is getting more and more scarce. 5 stars. Delicious.

6 months later and still spot on. No decrease in quality what so ever. You can tell the cooks genuinely care about the food coming out of the kitchen.

I have been ordering from this establishment for years. With everything that is going on with the Covid I expect a bit less from most takeout restaurants. I have to say. I have been so surprised at the quality and timeliness of the deliveries. They are still always happy to accommodate any requests for additions toppings or condiments. This place is better than ever. If you get an opportunity. Definitly try the chicken parm, the Italian (I add prosciutto) and the Farmers pizza It is to die for.
