Indulge Coffee and Sandwich Co. — Restaurant in Stonington

2 girls behind the counter were very nice. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a lox breakfast sandwich. Only after paying was i informed that they would take 25 minutes!

That would have been nice to know before paying. We understand there’s a high volume of online orders. But still 25 min for bagels with cream cheese and one with uncooked salmon is a bit long.

We waited over 30 minutes outside in the pink chairs, checking periodically. After too long… we were told “yours will be up next..”. Took a seat inside. Within 30 seconds the order came out which led us to believe it had been ready and sitting there for a while.

Sandwiches were rock hard and cold. We definitely know they were sitting there for a long time and no one told us they were ready.

We like supporting small businesses but not when it takes forever and food...

I’m a bit confused. I arrived at Indulge to have a bagel with cream cheese. The store was empty. A young girl behind the counter was pleasant but informed me she could not put cream cheese on my bagel because it was after 11:30 and that was considered a “breakfast sandwich” She asked for confirmation of this from a woman who was sitting at a table (the owner?) who said no after 1130. It was 11:46. I completely understand having a schedule but when I am the only customer in the store and I am asking for the simplest thing you can make at a store that makes breakfast sandwiches are you really going to turn people away? I stopped by here to grab a coffee on a Monday morning to start off the day. The inside was cute and they were doing a good job of social distancing and only allowing one group in at a time to order. They had a lot of beverage options and some baked goods to go. The person that took our order was also very friendly and quick to help us. I will say however that the prices were very high. Two iced coffees were $9. I got a Vanilla iced coffee with no sugar, only milk, and it was very sweet and actually tasted more like vanilla than any coffee.
