Waffle Pop Sweet Shop — Restaurant in Stonington

I'm so happy a place like this opened up in Pawcatuck!! Good parking (although my husband and I walked) and a great location right on the border of RI and CT. The staff were very welcoming and kind; I had a S'mores Waffle Pop at their suggestion and I don't regret it at all! Love the decor and candy section inside as well. You can also order takeout from them using DoorDash, but I recommend getting it fresh. Getting any sort of takeout from anywhere increases chances of your food getting soggy and you want these waffles fresh...

We “popped” in for a quick treat during an event at the Velvet Mill and was pleasantly surprised with the selection of local gift items, candy choices and of course the options for waffles and gelato. We got the strawberry shortcake gelato during this visit and haven’t stopped talking about it since!! Best gelato everrrrrr. Emily filled us in on all of her products and let us sample the gelato to find our favorite. Can’t wait to go back and check out the loaded...

We had a great experience while visiting the Waffle pop sweet shop during an event at the Velvet Mill. Hands down the best strawberry cheesecake ice cream that we can't wait to get back and have again. My children also enjoyed the sweet wall of Jelly Bellys (and mom too!)
