After reading some of these reviews, I'd swear I went to a different restaurant. The atmosphere was cold and quiet. There is no music playing except for way in the back of the kitchen, making the place feel empty and depressive. Two things nobody wants to pay to experience.
The server wasn't very attentive to us, and we were 1 of 2 guests. When I got my drinks, I got no straws. The server disappeared. Once I caught him again, I flagged him down and asked for a straw. I got 1 straw for 3 drinks. Then poof the server vanished again. The guacamole I got was cold, like dessert cold. The salsa had a large 1/4 of a tomato chunk inside of it. You cant eat that with a chip!
My entree was good. It was cooked thoroughly and tasted great, but I have a really bad stomach ache from it. Now look, I'm Mexican, I eat spicy things and Mexican food alot. I've never got a stomach ache from it before. I dont know what to make of this.
My last visit here when they first opened wasn't like this at all, but I don't see the point in giving this another shot. I really hope the owner sees this review and cleans...
Read moreBest Mexican around, a little pricey but worth it. The ground beef is actually seasoned & has a lot of flavor, unlike every other Mexican restaurant. They have great guacamole but it is like $12, so it's VERY expensive. That being said, it tastes great, but it's way cheaper to make the same thing at home.
They barely put any cheese on their tacos. I always order extra cheese on them & I still can barely find any cheese on them. Thankfully I always order cheese dip, so I end up having to use that on my tacos. Kind of annoying.
Update: I took a star away because their take-out/online ordering service needs some serious work. I ordered two tacos for myself & only received one. I mostly wanted to just eat chips with salsa, guacamole & cheese dip (I even ordered a large cheese & large guac). They only gave us a TINY bag of chips, smaller than any other Mexican restaurant would give. Why couldn't they give us a normal size bag? Needless to say, I ate one taco & a handful of chips & was still...
Read moreThe service here is attentive, polite, and friendly. The margaritas: they are NOT in any way shape or form watered down. I’m a little happier than usual writing this post meal (probably because of the margarita. I swear I hated Cleveland 20 minutes ago, but this place changed that). There’s exactly the right amount of cilantro in the salsa. There’s loud people here because they’re having a blast (again, probably because of the margaritas) and I want to be part of that energy. There’s something in the spinach dip that separates the men from the boys of spinach dips that makes me wanna foodgasm the way they do in Food Wars. Come here. You won’t be disappointed... unless you pass on margaritas...then you might have a bad time, but I doubt it. The entrees are great, too! Even if it is Friday during lent, this Catholic went pescatarian and it was amaze balls. Hey, they also have vegetarian and gluten free options too, so you could say they’re inclusive to other...
