Today we went to Texas Roadhouse we always have in the past with our family and usually have great experiences today however was far from the usual. I was there with my two small children we just got in our food got about three bites into our place when my littlest had to go to the bathroom. Being that it was just myself and my two small children I had to have my other tag along with me, am I surprised if we came out of the bathroom, the bus boy had cleared our entire table. I stood there staring at him while he finish wiping our table up and he looked at me blankly and asked if he had cleared our table. I told him he had,that we had just gotten our few and only got to take a couple bites when we had to use the restroom. At this point he asked me if I couldhpld on, leaving his bin sitting in the booth and myself and my two small children standing there with no place to sit. The server came over and immediately asked if he had cleared our table, when I told her he had she informed me that she specifically told him not to clear it and went to get the manager. The manager then came over to me and apologized and asked if they could remake our food for us, she was extremely apologetic as was our server. While they were taking care of having our food remade another manager approached us making light of the situation saying how the staff are so good at their job that this happens all the time and then hurried away. While waiting for our food the hostess approached our table with another party in attempt to seat them at our table and seemed surprised that we were sitting there. Read moreSo, I try to give a place a few chances before forming an opinion unless the first experience is either so amazing or so bad I need to write about it. This was the 4th time at this location. Non of them were great. This was by far the worst. We got the 6oz filet. We also had the ribs. The ribs were part over cooked and very dry. The other part was under cooked and chewy. My steak was cook ok but it was covered with a bad onion. To bad I got a mouth full of it before I realised. Most of my mashed potatoes where not mashed and my rice was under cooked with raw onions in it. My ladies mashed potatoes had a green bean in them and her rice was also under cooked. Now her filet was cooked weird. Part of it was ok and the other part was under cooked and it smelled like dog. Being it was only 6 oz I wonder how this can be. The manager was condescending and basically blamed us for it. Keep in mind it wasn't very busy at all. We were the only two at the bar. The food took forever to get. Our waitress wasnt present much. The odd thing is the bread was like bricks vs the normal light and flavorful rolls that everyone is used to. If they can't get it right when it's slow just imagine how bad it will be when they are busy. The Canton location is a lot better. By far the Mansfield/Ontario location is great. We will not be giving this one another dime. Everything cost more. We expect to get what we paid for. But not this time. We were cheated. I suggested trying someplace else. Read moreWow, we don’t go out to eat often bc we have a 2yo with a dairy allergy, and it is so hard to eat anywhere bc of this. But last night was my husbands 40th bday and so we took the risk. Joining the waiting list on the app was super easy and convenient! We had maybe a 3 minute wait when we got there! This place was already booming and our server was super busy. He apologized for the wait on drinks, but we already had bread and peanuts so it wasn’t a big deal. When he first came by I asked about an allergen menu. The server went and got the manager who was nothing short of amazing. She told me I could see the allergens on the app, and I chose a hotdog and a sweet potato with brown sugar and dairy free butter from home for my daughter. This manager went to the kitchen and read the packaging to ensure the hot dog and bun were dairy free! So above and beyond and appreciated. As we ate I noticed any time someone was leaving every worker stopped to thank them and tell them to have a good night. So impressed with this service! Our food was good, only complaint was the veggies were undercooked but I told the server and he made sure to tell the manager. I didn’t mind it bc I was taking them home to eat the next day anyway. Overall a really great experience and 5 stars. As we left it was PACKED lines out to the parking lot down the sidewalk. So happy we joined the waitlist! Whoever is managing this restaurant, bravo!
