After having a decent lunch meal here a couple of weeks ago, we decided to stop in for dinner and, unfortunately, our experience wasn't the same. While the building seemed clean, the staff seemed miserable, the service was slow (compared to the very small amount of people dining at the time), I'm not sure anyone there has ever mixed a long island in their life (and it was the special) and our meals were subpar. Freezer to fryer on their "house specialty" pretzel (it was hard, the cheese was lumpy, meh), my quesadilla was soggy with some brine-y tasting chicken chunks and their "house chips" were definitely straight from a Shearer's bag. I'm not sure if their cook called off, but several servers made the food. My boyfriend enjoyed his turkey club, so I'll give them that. We didn't bring these issues to their attention while there because we just didn't feel like it was worth the hassle. Plus, the fact that the servers made it then served it indicated that they felt it was acceptable, so it probably would've led to an argument anyways. Won't be...

What a joke of a restaurant. My 2 friends and I tried to eat here last night, and after a half hour of being completely ignored, we finally had to just leave. The restaurant was NOT busy. Almost all of the tables were open and the bar was about 30-40% full. The bartender told us to seat ourselves, so we grabbed a booth right by the bar. The bartenders and servers could see us clearly and walked past several times, but yet after almost 10 minutes of nothing we finally had to get up and ask for menus. Another 20 minutes went by before a different bartender finally asked if we wanted to order drinks. Yes, we did. We placed our order and proceeded to watch him NOT make our drinks but continue to take orders from guests at the bar and make those. Finally, we had to just leave. Went to Amigos Taqueria a few store fronts down and it was DELICIOUS and the waitstaff was wonderful. Definitely recommend going there instead, especially because Brubaker's menu was seriously...
