If I could give zero stars that is what this terrible place deserves! The week of Easter I made the terrible mistake of buying a washer and dryer from this terrible store, which was literally throwing my money down the toilet and giving me tons and tons of headache and frustration. The washer I bought drowned my new rental home and damaged the floor. I called immediately to have them fix it and the terrible customer service person mulan had the delivery people come back to my house instead of issue me a refund who just told me the washer and dryer had no problem although it clearly it was flooding my basement and it was visible.
We called again for a refund as the delivery people turned on my washer after I cleaned my basement and it flooded my basement again. I called the store furious asking for a refund and to obviously get the defective units out of my home to avoid anymore issues. They all refused to give me a refund or pick it up. Stating because I got a warranty I have to get the product fixed three times before I am issued a refund and it could be taken out of my home. Also because I bought a warranty and apparently two days had went by and they don’t issue refunds after two days.
I asked to speak to a supervisor Thomas who guaranteed me a refund but then later denied any claims of guaranteeing me a refund. Now I have to record all calls and lucky for me I did . Once he realized he was recorded never heard from him again. I was told I would get a refund but the appliances people acually needed to come to my house and attempt to fix it and it not work to get it. I was told this by Kes another supervisor of this store. My husband then speak to the General Manager who was told was never aware of this situation ( bullshit) that told us the same thing. We would get refund after the acual people that are suppose to fix the washer and dryer GE could not fix it ! So pretty much now it’s almost over a month with a washer and dryer that has never cleaned any of my clothes and has now damaged my home flooring, I am now paying for the mistake of their associate for not calling the proper people, because again no accountability. We were then guaranteed a refund by the store manger John if the appliances still don’t work after the proper people came to fix it. They came said it was fixed and the dryer is still faulty and doesn’t work. We have been trying to get in touch with store manger now for going on week and it’s been excuse after excuse and no follow up. There is no accountability in this store. It’s literally a scam! I have damages to my floor in my home and I am cleaning my clothes at a public laundromat although I bought a new washer and dryer unit with insurance. Don’t walk away run away from this store! Save yourself the anxiety and frustration. I wish I was warned and I regret the day I ever stepped foot in this establishment ! Buy no appliances here it’s just a waste of money and a lot of bullying again no accountability. I am looking into options to sue or if I can please with credit card company to force a refund and I now have to contact the better business bureau to see if they can give me resources. I tried to get information from the store to call the regional manger and they refuse to give me the name and contact of the regional. Again run away...
Read moreWarning do not purchase any appliances from Home Depot. Two years ago we purchased all new appliances. From the beginning the delivery and installation were a nightmare. The delivery team scratched up a new washing machine. We denied to accept it. They took over three hours just to bring in a refrigerator. They were unprofessional. We should’ve at that time denied it all. We were told it would take about a month for installers to come out. Unbelievable. We ended up paying another company to do it as we could not wait that long. They then brought a new washing machine which turned out to be another dryer. Then we had to wait even longer. It was a disaster from day one. Now our new nightmare began back in July. Our washing machine broke. We called the number for service. We purchased five year warranties from Home Depot. We called on Friday and they said they would be out Monday to check it out. Well they didn’t come out. Instead asked for a video of the noise. I sent it out to them Immediately. My husband called later in the week and they stated they ordered the parts but didn’t know when they would come in. Not sure what parts they ordered. We waited a week and called again and they said the same thing, they ordered the parts and that they didn’t have a delivery date. We questioned how they know what parts and they said by the video. The third week came and at this point the THD case manager got involved. She stated she showed no record of parts being ordered. She called the service people and they had just ordered them. Then the parts supposedly got lost. They had to order again. At this point we are way over a month of waiting and playing these games. This problem started in August and it wasn’t until September 29th that a technician finally arrived. After I called again that morning to ensure they were coming because they were late. I had to leave for an appointment so a family member was here for the gentleman to arrive. First off he had no idea why he was even there. He spent 20 minutes looking at stuff. He was quite unprofessional. He left saying the washing machine was unfixable. Home Depot warranty then took another 2 weeks to send me my check as I requested because I wasn’t going to use them again. My new washing machine (from another company) arrived last week. I went to use it that night and when I went to turn on the washing machine it made the SAME EXACT noise!!!! Our plumber just came out and said the valve went bad it was never the machine!!!! So now I’ve wasted over two months and more money all to find out my washing machine was never broken!!!!!!!! I emailed backed the THD case worker and she said she understands my frustration but managers do not call people back. WHAT THE HELL!!! Is this some kind of joke??? No one is held accountable for this nightmare??? I’m so furious!!! While the sales lady in the store was great, you are at the mercy of their installers and service people and they are awful!!!! They don’t stand by anything and just ignore my emails and complaints. So while it may seem like a great deal you are getting, the customer service is the worst I’ve...
Read moreThe store itself was clean and nice, but my experience with Christine is why I will never go to this store again. I stopped by to buy screws to fix a door at my job. I asked Christine for help finding the correct size. While looking for the screw with Christine, I called a part by the wrong name, to which she responded by saying, "You're a boy, learn the correct names.", implying that as a "man" I should have known the names. It is important to not that I am a FEMALE and only have my hair cut just above my shoulders which does not make me a boy. In shock, I said nothing in response. She then went to check me out at the cash register and asked, "Cash or card?'. I responded that I would be paying with a card, to which she said, "It's literally only $0.67. You seriously don't have a dollar?". This made me feel embarrassed for not having cash. I again froze and let her know that I do not carry any cash. Then, Christine spoke to another employee in front of me and said, "See, we don't need men at Home Depot! I just helped this GUY find screws." She emphasized that I was a "guy" and how they did not need "men", even though I am a FEMALE. Either way, it was extremely disrespectful, sexist, and out of line. I said nothing and when leaving the store she had the audacity to say, "Make sure to fill out the survey on your receipt and tell them how well Chris did!", wanting me to compliment her after she insulted me and my intelligence for 20 minutes straight and embarrassed me in front of other staff members. I would most likely never return to this location due to my fear of seeing her again and experiencing more emotional damage and embarrassment. I have never been treated this way in the general public, let alone from an employee that I politely had...
