Tired of the same old pizza joints in our regular rotation, my husband and I decided to give Dear Momma's Pizza a try....and man o' man it did not disappoint.
We ordered the jalapeño bacon cheese bread, boneless wings, 2 pizzas, and the ranch fries.
The wings were pretty standard but cooked well and tasty. And they were real hunks of meat, not the weird compresses chicken bits other places sauce and serve.
The jalapeño bacon cheddar bread was LOADED with flavor and paired amazingly with the, what I am assuming is housemade, ranch dressing. We actually just reheated this in the oven last night to accompany our paprikash dinner, and dare I say, though, delish the day we got it... I think it may have gotten even better reheated!
The fries were OVERFLOWING out of the box and were super cheesy and goey. We ordered the fries because of a review that claimed they "stole the show"...and while they were good, the real star here is 1000% the pizza.
We ordered 2 pizzas (The Zach Style and the Hawaiian), and they were both absolutely delicious. Their was a perfect cheese to sauce ratio, the edges were crunchy and crispy, the toppings were plentiful, and the sauce was very well balanced (not too acidic, a little sweet, and perfectly seasoned).
We ordered online, and the food was ready and piping hot at the given pick-up time. The gent who retrieved our order from the kitchen was very friendly. The location was easy to find, and parking was a breeze. We ordered a ton of food, and our total was very reasonable (we have admittedly spent way more on way less in both the quantity and quality department).
After one visit, we are hooked and can't WAIT to...
Read moreFinally tried this place out and was surprised! Their pies look small but they are mighty! Detroit style so they're heavy handed with the sauce on top which honestly, I'm not overly fond of due to heartburn. That aside, their sauce is on the sweet side and very tasty. Wife and I had the pepperoni with extra cheese (did not disappoint!) and if you're a fan of the Jets deep dish crust, this is a much more friendly version for the roof of your mouth.
Also pictured is the ranch fries which quite honestly stole the show. It's incredibly rare to get good fries from a pizza place but their house made ranch is fantastic and makes this the perfect appetizer before diving into one of their delicious pizzas.
Lastly, we also tried the boneless wings. BBQ and Hot Honey. Both flavors were on point with the hot honey not being too spicy while the BBQ was a refreshing flavor that paired perfectly with their ranch.
Price wise, I feel like they're well worth the asking price as the food is delicious and filling. They do offer a light sauce option so I'll definitely be hitting that going forward but aside from that, they've got a really great thing going here so...
Read moreWe tried Dear Mama’s this past week after seeing it recommended over and over on local moms pages and from friends. It was probably the BEST pizza we have had! I am a big fan of a good crust (more like a “pan crust”) on pizza and Dear Mama’s had just that! The pizza sauce was phenomenal! My fiancé and I both like a sweeter pizza sauce and this was PERFECT! We will definitely order extra sauce next time though because we like our pizza to have a little more sauce. Highly recommend, our new favorite pizza spot!!!
I also want to add that when I walked in to pick up my order with my 2 year old son, everyone was so welcoming! We were greeted with smiles and then my son got ALL the compliments! They were all so sweet and engaging with both of us. Great...
