I decided to leave a positive review for the Strongsville Clothes Mentor rather than a negative review for the North Olmsted store. This is the best location! Not only do I almost always find something to purchase that is of quality and to my taste, but the customer service is really what sets it apart. I never have trouble getting into a fitting room. I never feel scolded by the workers or like I'm stealing when I'm clearly not. I have had challenging experiences at the other location in North Olmsted...to put it nicely.... But the ladies who work at the Strongsville location have ALWAYS been polite and courteous and don't complain. I live in Middleburg Heights so both stores are equidistant to me and I would choose to come to the Strongsville store 10/10 times. They have a range of clothing options no matter your age. I'm a young professional and can find things for work, lounging, a wedding, or night out. For the prices you pay at thrift stores nowadays, you may as well go to Clothes Mentor and actually get quality, washed clothing. It's hard to find a t-shirt that isn't see-through anymore and they provide plenty nice items. I would definitely recommend this location and I hope the ladies know what a wonderful job...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHEY SELL FAKE PURSES! Spent $80.00 on a totally fake Coach purse! I used to live this store, sadly I will never return after getting a $10 fake used purse for $80.00! It was close to closing time and I spotted a large gray Coach purse and asked if I could buy it. The employee was obviously annoyed she had to walk over to the purse and unlock it off the rack, this is why I didnāt inspect it like I would have since I felt rushed out the door. She said all sales are final on the purse and feeling like a burden I didnāt take a better look at it as I trusted this store. Buyer beware. I have 15 Coach Purses 6 LV bags 2 Prada 3 Chanel bags as well as numerous MK bags so I do know a real from a fake , I had a false sense of trust with this store that I now regret. I have money but still luv a great deal and is why I liked shopping there. The last few times I was in there it was a bad vibe with negative employees that seemed like customers were just annoying to them. I will never buy anything from them again and would rather donate my clothes for free(which I do) then sell to them. I also spent $40 on a Tommy coat for my kid that was missing two of the three pieces it should have came with. Jokes on me this time....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store is extremely over priced for what they sell. I saw a few dresses that I personally own and bought online brand new for cheaper than what it was listed under. Not to mention, every time I take clothes there the first thing they do is say āthese arenāt juniors are theyā it is kind of insulting. I watched other girls bring stuff in and they did not ask them this. Must be the way I presented myself? On my off day, no makeup, and yoga pants while shopping. Sometimes I do have a few items mixed in that are juniors but I also have high end clothing from Dillards, Express, Zara, etc that are not juniors. I wear these to my job downtown where they are extremely strict on dress code and looking presentable. I watched the worker pick out a couple things and then not even go through the rest of my items? What the heck. How insulting. As if it isnāt literally their job. Will not be going back because it feels like I am treated this way every time even when I am only shopping. I just feel judged and unwelcome šš» Terrible...
