La Crepe Bakery & Café — Restaurant in Strongsville

I love it here! I take just about anyone here when they say they can get brunch.

When you walk in you’re greeted by dining room and the counter. You order at the counter, they have paper and permanent menus to look thru while you decide. There is also a display case of some of the sweet treats they have next to the register. On the other side of this display case there is complimentary water.

Staff is sweet! Check the items as they go past on the display to triple check, sometimes items have similar names so if you don’t say it fully correctly you might end up with the wrong thing. For example: I love love love the “French toast crepe” it is my favorite but if you don’t include that key word “crepe” when you order you might end up with just the French toast which is also delicious anyways.

Take a look at the menu before you go! They have so many options if you are indecisive it can be hard standing waiting to step up and order. I personally am a fan of the sweet crepes but the savory crepes are also delicious so it’s really whatever you’re in the mood for they have it. They have all your classic coffee shop options to drink. If you dine in they default to a nice real cup but if you think you may want to take your drink with you when you go ask for a to go cup.

Once you order (dine in) you’re given a table number and are welcomed to seat yourself. They have all sorts of seating options from regulars tables to a couch by the fireplace to bar style seating by the window to a booth style in the corner. Restrooms are on the far end of the dining area.

Once your food, coffee, etc is ready they’ll bring it to you to enjoy. It’s a great place to catch up, do work, etc. Highly recommend. I love the Strongsville location but they have a slightly smaller location in Berea by Baldwin Wallace’s campus that...

Before I write this review, I would like to say that each time I got the food there it was wonderful and the service was good as well. The thing that I am really disappointed about, and it is something that highly decisions me is how inaccurate their timestamp is. I came in at 5:24 to order food because as I mentioned how much I enjoy the food but they say the kitchen was closed. I asked for the time that the kitchen closes so I know for the future, I was not given an accurate time. If this place says that they close at 6:00 I am letting everyone know that by 5:20 the kitchen would probably be closed. If you don't have lunch at work and work through it, don't come here because you will not come on time. It is sad to say that because once again really enjoy this place but it's a place to eat at on your day off. It was four or five of us that were supose to come and 3 if them are new clients that came into the state for a day. Please re confirm your time on Google to be more accurate. Thank you.

Okay, so I’m only sharing this because I really wanted and needed a coffee today. I figured I’d try a new smaller owned place out thinking after looking at reviews this place was a good pick. The service and atmosphere wee impeccable but man. Going to the drink I ordered I’m glad I did t try something fancy. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. If a coffee shop can’t do this that it’s sub par in my opinion. Took my first sip, now it was made up in the matter of 2 minutes. I did not have to wait for it like other places I go for coffee. Which was nice, but ew, ew and couldn’t be more profoundly ew! One the coffee tasted like watered down mcds burnt coffee with a really nasty syrup. I also preferred it with extra caramel drizzle and I honestly could say what was at the bottom of my cup. Not impressed at all. Did not try any food alothoggh I will go back and retry the coffee as well. Maybe my ordered wasn’t made right I can’t say but from reading all reviews I figured this was my next obsession place for coffee. Waste of $5 if you ask me. Now again the atmosphere and service were a great! Just I wouldn’t get this coffee again. Not to mention I ordered an ice drink and it was melting the ice in the cup as I walked out. And I’m weird about my drinks being cold until I’m finished with it. So all in all not my finest...
