I never heard of this restaurant until about a year ago. Since then I was wanting to check it out. I ordered a Caniac combo with a lemonade. The wife got a box combo. I'll break the order and service down into categories.

Service: The line was pretty long. Not Chick Fil A long but still pretty long. This got my hopes up because that means we should be getting fresh food and I would say for the most part that is what we did indeed get. Also the employees were very nice and the service was fast.

Chicken Fingers: They are on the small side. Also they were kind of dry. It wasn't the best thing in that box. Not much of a value for the money.

Fries: One of the better parts of the dinner. Standard crinkle cut, but seasoned well plus nice and fresh. No complaints here.

Coleslaw: The worst thing in the combo. Whatever dressing or ingredient is in it, it smelled like paint thinner. Trashed it, and no I'm not exaggerating.

Texas Toast: Easily the MVP of the combo. Soft and flavorful. Excellent!

Cane Sauce: Didn't care for it. Perhaps it compliments the chicken but I didn't get that. I can see other people digging it, but I really didn't like the sauce. You could do worse however.

Lemonade: My wife said a friend at work told her the lemonade was trash. This made me want to try it even more just to see how bad it was. I am not sure what location that person at her work went to, but the location I went to had some pretty decent lemonade. Another highlight from the order.

Conclusion: My meal cost 12.29 and I got dry chicken with paint thinner coleslaw. However the fries, lemonade, and texas toast were all good. Still not worth 12.29. Popeyes easily has better chicken tenders. I even feel that Steak and Shake has better chicken tenders and at a better value. I'm giving three stars for the service and the food items I enjoyed. You could do a lot better for a lot cheaper at other restaurants. Sadly I wont be coming back to Canes unless I am in the area and am in need of a...

I got REALLY bad food poisoning here. I've been sick and using the bathroom all morning, and I just now had very bad vomiting. Yes, that's what this photo is. Its mostly clear because I've been drinking water all day. I vomited several times and then dry heaved. It was really painful.

I get it, you don't want to make the food. It's easier to make it all at once and let it sit there for hours. The chicken was completely cooked. It had to have sat there for hours or your not washing your hands.

I'm sure you think this is funny and you don't care but please realize that this sort of thing puts kids and elderly people in the hospital. I hope you can see my photo, it has my receipt and what just made it difficult for me to breathe. I'll never eat at this or any of your other locations again. I'm also contacting your coropate office to help prevent this from happening again.

Edit - I'm 100% calling a lawyer tommorow to see if I'm entitled to compensation. This is ridiculous. I've pulled every muscle in my back and have had 4 vomiting sessions. I could not work...

Decided to try the 20 car drive thru for the first time. Impressively enough it was faster than 3 cars at McD. 2 stars for the quick service, very attentive and friendly staff, and a correct order (like that happens much at fast food restaurants). For the food, the hype is just that, hype. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. Sauce borderlines on a Frankenstein’s experiment, taste weird and not very appealing. Chicken was moist and decent, small tenders, breading didn’t add much. Fries were OK. All in all, their doing well because of the novelty, there will be those who think it’s the best thing since sliced bread, but in 6 months or a year, we’ll see how they stack up. Nice to see a new place in Strongsville, wish them the best, just don’t see the success in their model.

Downgraded to 1, wish I could do 0. Sauce is reportedly to have mayo in it. By name alone makes me sick. With all the reporting requirements today for food, not to provide details of what they put in their sauce is nearly criminal. I’m going...

I love Raising Canes chicken fingers. They are tender on the outside and crispy on the outside. The thing that makes the food real good is the special sauce that is soooo good and the sweet buttered bread is specially good also. All their combos are chicken fingers either 3, 4, 6, pieces that come with fries, Cole slaw, special sauce and buttered sweet bread. But in large portions though. They just opened this one in Strongsville and I'm very happy they did.. One of the best looking Canes so far that I have seen. I've been to the ones in Phoenix and California. But this is the most modern one that shows Cleveland Indians, Cavs, and Browns memorabilia on their walls. If you haven't tried Canes you don't know what your missing.

First visit to Raising Cane's. We were welcomed upon entering the door. We mentioned it was our first visit. The counter person and another employee who overheard it was our first visit were so kind in sharing what their favorite meal is. The order was accurately filled and quickly ready. We enjoyed every bit. It is not located close to home, but today it was on our way home from an appointment. We are now planning when to make a trip back for our next dining experience. To the owner - you have a great crew. In our 25 minutes, the team was cleaning and restocking. So friendly...and smiling. Thank you!
