Upon receiving delivery of our king size split sleep number bed the delivery men told us if we purchase the mattress cover from sleep number it will extend our warranty for 5 years. When we called the store we were told this was not true. She told us if we purchased the mattress pad at the time we were in the store purchasing our 6K bed we would be eligible at that time only for extended warranty. We let her know this was not offered to us at the time of purchase could we purchase pad now for extended warranty? She stated she was pretty sure they would honor the extended warranty and we should hurry up and purchase the pads. SHe was very high pressure. I let her know I would prefer to wait until she checked with district manager. She called me back and said the district manager stated they will not honor extended warranty if we purchase the mattress pads the pads must be purchased at the same time as the 6K bed. I asked for the number so I could contact the district manager she stated she was not allowed to give out that information. She said she checked with the salesman who sold us the bed and he said he informed us at the time of the purchase about extended warranty if we purchased the pads. The salesman NEVER told us about this. So basically Sleepnumber in Strongsville called us liars and said believed the salesman . If I can find out the return policy on the bed I will return!! I spent over 6K for the bed and they will not honor extended warranty if we purchase the pads a few days after we purchased the bed. I would not recommend Stronsville sleep number store to anyone! I cant believe after spending over 6K for a bed they treated us terribly! Once they get your money its over! TERRIBLE...
Read moreThe people at the Strongsville, Oh store were nice and helpful when we were purchasing the bed. After having it for 6+ months we were far less satisfied. I wouldn't recommend a split king to anyone. Also the remote started not working and the connection to the app on our phone wasn't working well either. The answer from customer support was unplug the bed and let it reset to fix that. I didn't pay thousands of dollars to do that every couple of days. One side of the bed just wasn't staying inflated so they sent someone out to look at it finally and the answer was to put an extra pad on that mattress to keep it more even with the other side. Again, not what I expected. All in all I've never been so dissatisfied with something I spent this kind of money on. Finally, when we sold our house and moved I tried to transfer the 25 year warranty to the new owners since I wasn't taking it with us to our new place. I was dumbfounded to hear that they wouldn't do that. Again, for something with this much of a price tag and supposed to be top of the line product and service, I am disappointed beyond belief. Read moreBoth times I have shopped at this store, they have double billed me for something, and I have had to bring it to their attention. They can bill my card in seconds, but it takes days to get the charge reversed. I have zero trust in their store. The bed I ordered has an air leak somewhere that I am trying to get figured out, and the caps I needed to see if it was the bed was leaking were not left when the bed was delivered, as they were supposed to have been. I had to drive over an hour to get them and be told sometimes the guys forget, like it was no big deal. I do like the sheets they sell, even though they are expensive. The fitted sheet is the only one I've ever had that stays tucked in. The jury is still out on the bed.
A couple of days after I posted this review, I got a phone call from the manager of this store. She apologized for the problems and wanted to know what she could do to make things right. She addressed all of my issues and facilitated the repair of my bed. I am happy with the actions she took. I would just suggest double checking what they are going to charge you before they actually put the charge through to save yourself...
