Got my shopping done Go to the cash register the girl is going through all my stuff and she's scanning everything I pay for it it was $522 and then I roll along through the girl at the front door which she also double checks all your packages no problem with that until today she's going through my stuff she's throwing stuff around because 522 obviously you know I purchased quite a few items and she's going through it throwing things around on your cart because she keeps getting wrong counts so I question her would you like me to get another cart this way you could take it out of this cart and put it in the other she says no no I got it okay meanwhile 10 minutes goes by she still counting also from the front door to the cash registers where line of carts waiting to be checked out and everybody seems to be waiting for me so finally after countless attempts to make it count of what's in the cart she says who packed this and I said I don't know who you mean by who packed this cart and I said I put it in the cart The girl was scanning the item she was moving things around I said is there a problem she says all this shouldn't have been packed this way and I said whatever, I said you know I've been here for 10 minutes I would really like to leave well I have to get account of everything that's what she says to me finally after minutes and minutes go by at least 10 minutes maybe closer to 12 or 13 minutes I'm waiting in line I finally said to her what did you think I was stealing something turns around and says you didn't steal nothing today so it was like an accusation like I went in there a different day and tried to steal something that's the way it made me feel now meanwhile there's 10 to 15 people in line waiting for this woman so I got very upset when she made that comment I turned my car right around went to the service desk and demanded my money back so now everybody over at the service desk they're all pissed off because now they have to work and make the return so after them trying to ring everything back onto the same receipt that I had they had to do it twice so now I'm waiting another 10 minutes 15 minutes for the return and there's two people now working on my order Anthony and Shannon I believe is the girl behind the desk at customer service and the girl's name the ignorant one in the front door with the man haircut her name was Paula what an ignorant ignorant mean spirited, chip on her shoulder, woman anyway got everything returned and towards the end Anthony and Shannon they were pretty cool with me I think they understood, of what happened in the front regardless I ended my membership I told them I want a full refund for my membership and they gave it back to me $55 plus they gave me the $522 refund and I'll will never ever go in that place again ever... I just wanted to share that just to let you know what we're dealing with today The mentality of people, the way I'm describing it is the way it happened I know there's a video tape with her actions and her words to me a disgrace that they would treat a customer the way they did PS I don't know how they got a 4.0 because I see a lot of bad remarks I think management or corporate really needs to get involved before that...
Read moreSadly this store is getting worse and worse to deal with. I was just there around 5ish. I waited at least a half hour on the deli line while the 1 lady behind the counter helped 1 customer and then I got tired of waiting so I decided to go get my cold cuts somewhere else. I wanted 2 rotisserie chickens but there weren't any ready. The lady said that the top of their machine isn't working so when the bell rings she has to put the chicken on again and it would be at least another hour. Got up to the checkout and only self checkouts were open. Ridiculous! Not only am I shopping in your store but I'm paying a membership to do so and at the very least there should be a cashier there to ring up my groceries. If I have to do it myself than you should be paying me instead of charging me a membership fee. There should also be more than 1 person working in the deli at 5pm. Luckily I went to Shorite and got my cold cuts, my rotisserie chickens and was able to have a cashier ring up all my stuff. I will not be renewing my membership to Bjs this time. Read moreI wish I didn’t have to put in one star because it isn’t worth it. Unfortunately I am disabled and use food stamps, but this is totally unacceptable. I had a friend go shopping for me because of the back pain I suffer with. I have worked hard since I was 14 and I am appalled that my friend had to go through what just happened! I kindly asked him to pick up a rossiter chicken and toliet paper. I know damn well I have to pay for the things that are not covered but Cashier number #472528 decided that he would tell the rest of the store that he was using food stamps.
