Picked up a Door Dash for someone here. Pulled up to the speaker at the drive thru, told them I was there to pick up and told them the customer's name, they said pull up to the window. I get to the window, I'm waiting for like 10 minutes and there's no workers in sight. The only sign of life is the mysterious sound of a small child screaming which sounds like it's coming from inside the kitchen and I don't see any kids outside (it was also 9:30 pm when this happened) and one worker who is smoking outside.
Finally a guy comes to the window, looks at me flabbergasted like he has no idea why I'm sitting at his window. "Are you here to pick up an order?" He asks. Whoever I spoke to on the speaker never bothered to let anyone else know I was there. I told him the customer's name, he looks around, and the order is sitting there, already made, right next to the window. So I waited 10 minutes for an order that was already done, just for someone to come by and hand it to me.
I deliver it to the customer. The customer calls me 10 minutes later complaining that he didn't get his full order. I tell him that everything is supposed to be in the bag and if it's not, he needs to take that up with Sonic because they forgot half this guy's food. By this point the restaurant was closed so I guess he never got the rest of it. Of course the customer blames me, gives me a bad review and retracts his tip.
I have literally lost time, money and reputation because of the incompetence at this location. If you're picking up here, make sure you play kindergarten teacher and check their work. It is well known in town that nobody who works...
Read moreI don’t have a sonic near where I live so I was excited to try it, and the food didn’t disappoint. However... I ordered the Sweet Pretzel Twist and there was no frosted cream cheese icing in my bag. I buzzed the employees inside to let them know and they said they would send it out. They came out and gave me two packets of Philadelphia cream cheese LOL. I buzzed again and asked if this is what I was supposed to get because I was under the impression it would be frosted cream cheese like a dipping sauce you would get at Auntie Anne’s or Cinnabon. The lady inside reassured me the Philadelphia cream cheese is what you’re supposed to get. I looked up a video online to find out that you are actually supposed to get Cinnabon branded cream cheese icing like I thought. So either she was completely wrong or she lied to me, and I was annoyed at not getting what was advertised. If they ran out she could have just told me they ran out and I would have been fine, but don’t try to pull the wool over my eyes and fool me with some damn Philadelphia cream cheese LOL it’s actually kind of funny but not funny at the same time because I know that cream cheese icing would have knocked my socks off. I would give this place 1 star but the rest of the food was actually good, this Sonic’s customer service just sucks.
Edit: Someone responded to my review but still didn’t address the issue, they just recited some generic customer service speak. It looks like incompetency comes from the top down. I don’t plan...
Read moreWe went through the drive thru for nostalgic reasons as all of the other Sonics have closed. We ordered a cheeseburger, barbecue chip flavored tots, large order was about 15 tots, coated with sauce - not a dried powder as depicted on the picture, a Philly cheesesteak meal with fries and an order of Cinnabon pockets. We wanted popcorn chicken but they were out of that. We got everything but the cheesesteak. We went back around and the drive-thru was 4 cars deep so we swung into a parking spot and hit the button. We waited about 3-4 mins for someone to answer and told them we just came through the drive-thru and what we were missing. She knew exactly what we ordered and said okay, I'll bring it right out. TWENTY MINUTES LATER the cheesesteak was delivered, the cheesesteak that should have been done and ready and sitting on the counter not bagged. By the time I got it I was hangry. The fries were well beyond overcooked, crunchy oil soaked potato sticks that were either burnt or double fried. We asked if there was a manager on-site and the young man who brought us the steak sent him out. The manager did apologize and refunded us the whole $23.90 for the order and also brought new fries that were less burnt but by then I was so mad that I didn't want any of it. There is a reason why they've all closed but this one. It's not what I remembered it to be. Popeye's is right...
